He has showed no ambition. He couldn't have sorted his family out with a salary plus benefits at United? Greedy cunt, him and his agent. Enjoy the buzz of the French League with a club that will replace you next season with another multi million purchase. lolz.... if someone living in shit ass Brazil had the choice to go somewhere to play football and have him family paid for out of someone else's pocket, why shouldn't he? my god - people in other countries don't actually see United as the be all and end all of teams, if a united bid comes in they dont say "well fuck me, its Manchester United, 40k a week? nope, ill take £10 and a mars bar". how the reactions have gone from "ZOMG BEST YOUNG PLAYER WE NEEEED" to "what a cunt" is astounding. It's irreverent if he could of come here or not, our bid wasn't accepted and PSG's was.... should he have said, "well ill wait for another United bid?" ......... Agree for the most part, although my taking of the general feeling of the majority of fans was that we didn't want/need him, plus he was too expensive? I think we were more desperate for Ozil, Sneijder etc.

Some reports going around that PSG paid the agent and family €9m on top of the transfer fee. Months of bartering and negotiation wasted by United...reckon PSG would have opened the chequebook to the tune of €55m if United had never been linked with him?

Leonardo is Director of Sport at PSG and had two spells at Sao Paulo as a player and has strong ties to the club.

Lets be honest we were never going to entertain the notion of paying Mouras agent, and extended family extra money on top of an initial transfer fee. Not going to happen. As regards Dan, alluding to some people saying Moura would be great for us, then suddenly saying he's shite when we didn't end up getting him. Well yeah. But lets not forget there were some of us who were cautious about Moura in the first place- most of us genuinely never heard of the kid or saw him play. And some of us felt we wouldn't be paying a barmy transfer fee for the kid either. A few of us certainly weren't arsed about Moura in the first place like Jim.

A tad disappointed with the kid's decision. But I am glad we did not pay over the top for him. Hearing the 9 mil agent fees and family fees and the 35 million tag makes me glad we didn't take him. In total PSG spent around 50 million pounds to get this lad from Brazil to Paris.
That's just fucked up. He's good, but not that good.

To be honest the extra payments to Moura's agent and extended family stinks.
We wouldn't go down that road in a million years. In a way i'm glad, don't care how good this kid is.

I'm not going anti-glazer conspiracy theory here but this is the 2nd time a fee to an agent has scuppered a deal this summer right? Might it make sense then the next time we try to buy a player we establish at an early stage, say the first time we speak to anyone about the transfer, whether or not his fucking agent will want a fee? And then we can either realise that a lot of them are at it and pay them or simply hang up and move on? Crazy idea?

Fergie on Lucas
"I find it quite amazing that a club can pay €45 million for a 19-year-old boy," Ferguson said. "They must have spent about £150 million in the last month. As you know, the only deterrent to that is UEFA."

Also from the mouth of the Boss: "When somebody's paying £45m for a 19-year-old boy you have to say the game's gone mad."

Some of us on here have previously said what Fergie is saying to a certain degree regarding the barmy fee.
Madness. Oh we'll sort out your agent and extended family too.

It'll be interesting to see how these new laws affect the game, because right now, no one seems too upset by it all

When the fuck does this FFP come into effect. It's fucking ridiculous. It's been suggested that football has started to lose touch with the everyday fan. With mega rich clubs who were sub-par and unknown before the sugar daddies came, inflated fees for spotty teenagers, and dirty disease ridden agents, I'd tend to believe it's already lost touch. The Hazard and now this deal has really sickened me to the point of disillusionment.
