No sweat mate.I thought it was strange that you were having a go at MC given your usual support of him.
And still we havent addressed the issue.I really hope there is some foundation in the Sahin rumours, Carrick along with the OAPs are all a year older and the problem is only going to get worse. If MC gets injured we are fucked.

He's a good player, would suit Barcelona's formation nicely.

song would barely get a game at barca, he'd be a squad player like keita.

www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19293825Alex Song could leave Arsenal, says Arsene Wenger Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says Alex Song could be the next player to leave the club, but hinted there could still be further additions. Robin van Persie is set to complete a move to Manchester United and midfielder Song, 24, has been linked with Barcelona. Asked about the possibility of more signings, plus the departure of Song, Wenger said: "Both can happen." Arsenal have been linked with Real Madrid midfielder Nuri Sahin. Song is one of Wenger's longest-serving players, having joined Arsenal as a 17-year-old from French side Bastia in 2005. He initially joined on a one-year loan deal, before making the move permanent. Song's current contract is due to expire in the summer of 2014. Meanwhile, Wenger confirmed that Thomas Vermaelen will replace Van Persie as Arsenal captain this season. "The new captain is Vermaelen and [the vice-captain is] Mikel Arteta," he said. "We have many potential captains in this team." --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- Would be cheeky as hell, but let's go go go!

We could have Sahin for that kind of money and he is twice the player Song is.
I would rather see Tunnicliffe given a shot.

Yeah, me too. This generation's Nicky Butt needs to be given his chance. I just don't have faith that it will happen.

So are Songs, he fouls an awful lot and gets caught wrong side more than most DM`s.
I see Sahin as more of a Scholes replacement.

I think last seasons loan spell has done wonders for him.He was a bit of a Bull in a china shop while playing Academy/Reserve Football but the improvement in his game is really noticeable, he looks much more composed and gets his head up a lot more. His passing game is not something I had picked up on previously but he has a very good range. I think he could be the surprise player this year.

I only meant they are both extremely adept at controlling play from deep. And at the moment their playing styles are quite comparable. So no, I'm not fucking mad.

If he wasn't player in England I think more people would be clamouring to sign him. A physically imposing box to box, likes to put a foot in and has an eye for a pass and has decent feet. He'd be a decent signing for us, but there's no way they sanction a move to us
