That's 'RAWK class' arguments. This 'agent' will be a legend on RAWK

His cross field 40 yard balls are superb, time and again he find his man.
His through balls to a striker making a run off a defender, which is the main job of a player playing in the hole where he wants to play, are 9 times out of 10, shocking. He routinely passes straight to a defender, to the keeper, or out for a goal kick. Or dallies for half an hour on the ball waiting for a defender to come round his side and take it off him, which also happens several times a match, every match.I'm not a critic of his, just do not think he has the game to play in the hole, he is now a finisher, let Kagawa play in the creative position and have Rooney in the box waiting to score, 85 (I think) goals in the last 3 seasons? We know he can finish, and he gets assists by pulling wide and sticking a cross in, but the overall creative playmaker, ala Cantona or Sheringham, he is not. Precisely. Rooney can pull off the 'Hollywood' cross-field raking pass and it looks boss. But his short range passing, and popping the ball off under pressure can be very poor for a guy who is supposedly World Class. It really frustrates be sometimes, because, as fletch alluded to, Rooney apparently has (long) passing ability. He'll under or over-hit passes that you just wouldn't expect him to. majorred - Steady on mate! Maybe wouldn't get in the Blues' startin line-up ahead of Pistol Pete, but Glenturn?! We're coming back mate, big two on Saturday at the Oval. Get your house on a Glens win ;-) On topic - Rooney is world class. And on the subject of ITK's, check out EPL_ Agent007 for lolz. His posts from yesterday are hilarious.

Would be interesting to find out where all this shite has come from mind, United haven't come out and said anything, neither has Rooney or his agent. Before he went of injured there was nothing, as soon as he was injured they start commenting on his attitude etc.
Now today the Sun have gone even deeper into the bullshit trail by suggesting united are on the verge of "flogging" (aye because a paper really uses these words) him but the snag is that no team in Europe is likely to want him.
Obviously they have run of out factual stuff to print ( if they ever did that in the 1st place). Its come out of nowhere but it will disappear just as quick, we wont sell him. United the club release an official statement or the player actually says it then hes happy at united. Hell come back stronger because that the type of player he is. He loves to prove people wrong. I hope he does it this year as well. Hell never be forgiven for what he put us through with the contract but time to forget and not forgive. Hes a player that can change the outcome of a game, that itself shows how much quality and ability the lad has even if he does have the odd poor game.

I asked this two days ago in this thread.
I'd love to know who we'll be bringing in instead of chubby, zero form, ball control-less, Wayne Rooney?
The silence has been deafening. Says it all.

Says it all. two reason Red. 1. There is no one who can offer what Rooney can( yeah i will probably get the stick from a lot) and 2. People know for sure that the money from the sale will not go fully into finding one

Says it all. i share your frustration to an extent. 'Rooneys touch is shit' 'His passing is atrocious' let's be fair when we say this stuff. we are talking about when he's out of form. when he's playing well his touch is fine and his passing is excellent, definitely that of a top player. ideally when a creative player like rooney struggles for form, they just make sure they get the basics right, it just seems when waz is out of form he struggles with those

Hell return, then hell beast the defence with RVP and people will love Rooney again and forget they ever slagged him off, its the way of the plastic brigade. They werent asking for his head when he buried an overhead kick against the berties, or smashed one in from 20 yards against Newcastle.
The problem is the bad always outweighs the good. If he didnt play against Everton this conversation wouldnt be happening either. Its journalistic bollocks and that at most.

what is true though is that it appears that for the first time in his career he has genuine competition for a place, which was the point in the thread really. if he's smart and is still passionate about the game he'll use it to take his game to the next level. he's what, 26? at that age it's an opportunity. if players of the ilk of kags and van persie had come along when waz was 30+ then it's a different situation.
