as much as we are looking on this as a logical player for player swap, discussing Rooney possibly leaving the club just feels wrong for me, irrespective of past agitations/indiscretions.

Heard these rumours, quite possibly just that. I'd be fucked off if he left, there isnt a player in the squad id let him leave instead of. Hes the teams heartbeat so for that reason it's nothing but the usual shit rumour mill on its run.

If Rooney goes to PSG, regardless of wages, you'd have to assume that he would feel that they've got a better chance of winning the Champions League than United do (which they don't).
If Rooney was looking for better wages he would have already gone to City.
This is bullshit as far as i'm concerned, Rooney knows he's a better chance of winning the Champions League at United even if he did happen to consider PSG's supposed offer.

i dont know why i didnt realise this earlier...... this story has his 'agent' written all over it IMO.
he is gonna be entering his final 2 years of his contract right, so the 'agent' is just doing what he did b4, putting public pressure on the club. SMH.
