Another rumour was Real are lining up a 70m bid for Bale to replace Ronaldo. That makes me feel a bit better If Rooney was to leave (Hope it never happens but if) Then... Nani RONALDO Clevs Bale Kagawa RVP Lewa lol glad you corrected that, that's what I meant. See you are good for something other than being a Nazi

Still can't see it. I f money was the issue, Rooney would be already at City. Do we genuinely think Rooney thinks he's got a better chance of winning the Champions League there then at United? He needs mental evaluation if he thinks that..!! Unless he's suddenly developing a liking for Ligue 1 titles? Only other thing that comes to mind is that he's peeved and is 'seeking a new challenge'. . Strange one. You do know PSG's wealth make city look like Portsmouth right? Does he really need PSG's wealth, as he's already a millionare? He's off to PSG as he can now buy twice as many cars, houses etc....i fail to see the relevance personally. He's got the chance of more Premier League titles, a good chance of a couple more Champions Leagues... ....but he'll let that go for Ligue 1's, a lesser chance of Champions Leagues...but his Bank Manager is happy?

Remember nothing has suggested he wants to even move so personally think it's a load of toss. throw it in the rumour bin with the rest of the shit that floats about.

Rooney, or any modern footballer really with notable exceptions, showing the sort of logic anc sense we mere mortals apply to life? Comedy gold!

He was allready a millionare when he wanted to leave for money and play for City though...and PSG will likely compete for CL at some point with all the money they are spendin If selling him would mean we bought a superstar ala Ronaldo and a good box to box (Stroots etc) I wouldn't complain.

You were banging on about money and city - he wasn't linked to city in todays article, it was PSG. The relevance is that PSG have alot more money than city. You do know PSG have alot of money right? Buying Rooney wont be the end of their transfer spending unlike us and other teams using their entire budget to bring in a top player. They are apparantly after Mourinho & Ronaldo - they also have the dosh to outbid everyone else. He wont dare go to city after what happened in the past, he wont get in Barca or Madrids team (but might fancy his chances anyway - even though Barca's main target is Neymar and Madrid's will probably be Bale & Aguero), so who else is there? Gee let me think....

Hmm, not sure on this one.
He's a great player, and still very important to us, though not as important as the last couple of seasons due to RVP's arrival.
It would all have to come down to how much we get, and who comes in to replace him, I suppose.
If we got somewhere around the 60 million mark (might be a tad too high, but bollocks, milk them for all they have), and if the Glazers were prepared to give Fergie around 40 to spend anyway, then we have a 100 million bounty to bring in 3 top class players with. Use 60-70 on bids for Bale and Wilshire (test their resolve with big bids) and have a remaining 30 million or so for a striker (could bid 35 for that Newcastle striker, Carroll, or has that been done already?)

(could bid 35 for that Newcastle striker, Carroll, or has that been done already?) I'd rather give Bebe a chance and tell the Glazers to keep the money themselves

there are a bunch of players i'd prefer than neymar from what i've seen. [which isn't a whole lot admittedly]
on the rooney thing. think we are giving this way too much thought. i'm sure PSG are interested, but whether we are interested in doing business or not is another matter. and i can't see waz being especially interested in Paris and the french league.

SET.
Rooneys previous actions were directed by his agent, you clown.
If you bothered to read what i previously posted, i didn't say he was linked to City in todays article...i was alluding to the fact that he could have gone PREVIOUSLY to City for money, if he was greedy enough to do it.
