Testimonial year for him next year,did he not say a few weeks ago he wanted to finish at united.For me i don't want him going anywhere we have a real top team developing here and he will see that in training day in day out.You look at the back five coming through also pea, clevs etc some real quality which was allegedlly the problem back in 2010.I agree with you Paul hope it is a load of shit.

If money was the issue, Rooney would be already at City. Do we genuinely think Rooney thinks he's got a better chance of winning the Champions League there then at United? He needs mental evaluation if he thinks that..!!
Unless he's suddenly developing a liking for Ligue 1 titles?
Only other thing that comes to mind is that he's peeved and is 'seeking a new challenge'. .
