Parker is entitled to his opinion. iirc he is the only one willing to call out Rooney for what he is nowadays, so he gets a huge amount of slack from me.

There are many reasons Mourinho may not implode at United including (but not limited to):
A lack of major established egos at the club right now.
No owner/political influence dictating how he should do his job and pressuring him with the threat of a sacking.
4th being the minimum requirement which really isn't that difficult given the budget.
Also, look at how he left Inter, no bad blood whatsoever and they still revere him - add these factors to the fact that he's obviously always had great respect for United and has wanted to manage the club.

I really don't understand what the fuck these ex utd players want. Appoint Giggs? Fuck off. Utd have potentially saved themselves from slipping into mediocrity with the appointment of mourinho. Other than mourinho and possibly Emery, who else is there? Every other top coach was spoken for, and the alternative? keep van gaal another year, then Giggs - nah. Yes, this mourinho play may end up going Tits up, but in the meantime we are guaranteed he will have us challenging for major honours, instead of being a laughing stock. I think Woodward should get some credit for acting & ensuring the slide does not continue. Woodward could have appointed Giggs,he could even have stuck with LVG for one more season, we are at the point where a quick fix is needed,Jose is the quick fix option. Giggs or LVG were far too much of gamble. Well Done Ed!

Woodward deserves no credit because he should simply fuck the hell off.
The way this dull fucker goes about how business it would take him an hour to boil minute rice.

Can't really understand how appointing a new manager equates to selling your soul. A lot of people must really be scared of just hate Jose FIXED

Put it this way, if that point against City or Liverpool wins us the league it won't be that hard to stomach - think of all the points grinded out under Sir alex to win titles.

Grinding out results is different to parking the bus though. I only ever once remember Ferguson parking the bus and that was against Barca in 08. Special mention to City in that season. Parking the bus won't be much different to Van Gaal's boring possesion so whatever, this is us now. Let's just win things please.

Don't forget, Mourinho is also the first manager to get a team to score over 100 goals in a season. If that's parking the bus then bring it on. He does have the "do whatever it takes to get a result" mentality but then van Gaal didn't. We played dull football and lost on many occasions. He also boasts the highest win rate of any manager in the leagues history with 66%.
There is the odd occasion he parks the bus, but then if he didn't do that would Gerrard have slipped that day and would they have gone on to win the league. They parked it that day and ran out 2-0 winners.
He knows how to get the best of out of the players he has. This is why we NEED him. He's not my preferable choice but if its what we need to get back on track then im glad he's coming to us.

The world is going to try and find a fault with Jose now just because he`s ours, look at this as a positive.
They are rattled and pissed off again, we were never more than mediocre and not enough of a threat under LvG.

Van Gaal's default was not lose.
Mourinho's default is win.
Questions over.

Winning has as much to do with uncontrollable circumstances as anything else. Competing though - that is what has been missing. Hopefully the lesson from the Van Gaal era is that "goals win matches, not possession".

Van Gaal's default was not lose. Mourinho's default is win. Questions over. To win the league yes. Many, many times he sets up for an away nil nil against the big teams and then beats them at home. Everyone should know this by now.
