ADM has become a serious risk in a side managed by a manager who doesn't want to take risks. In such dichotomies disasters are made and last night was a disaster. That Mata was kept on the bench added to the weight of the disaster. ADM finally achieved the status often reserved for Young in the past but he went too far when he laid hands on the ref. He needs to be benched until his form returns and if that takes until next season so be it, because at the moment he's a liability.

This is you today Funny, as I'd say statements like bench one of the best players in the world til the end of the season even though he'd had a pretty damn good first half and assisted our only goal as trolling to some extent.

I meant more the last couple of slaggings of Phil. I reckon we should bench him once. Let him come on as an impact sub and tear a team apart. Might help his confidence a little

www1.skysports.com/football/news/11667/9760648/louis-van-gall-makes-no-assurances-over-angel-di-maria-at-manchester-unitedLouis van Gaal: Angel di Maria can leave Manchester United - Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has said that he is prepared to let Angel di Maria leave Old Trafford if the player has become unsettled after an attempted break-in at his home. Di Maria has failed to sparkle after a £59.7million move from Real Madrid last summer, and the attempted burglary in January has led to renewed speculation over his future. The intruders were foiled but the incident unsettled the Argentina international to such an extent that he has moved his family into an apartment owned by the former United defender Phil Neville. Van Gaal, when asked if he would let Di Maria leave on compassionate grounds, said: "I am always like that. When you see my history, that's part of my philosophy. A player is not just a man who kicks the ball from A to B. His environment is influencing him. "I shall always be open but I know that the commercial interests of the club and we have to respect that. You cannot give a lot of money for a player and next season put him out of your selection." Di Maria will sit out Sunday's Sky Sports live game against Tottenham following his sending off against Arsenal last Monday. Van Gaal is adamant that he can go on to achieve success at Old Trafford and confound the naysayers, who have yet to be convinced by his management style or footballing philosophy. He said: "When I think that the chemistry between the players and the manager is not good enough anymore then I go. But when I see the chemistry between myself and the players now then I don't have any doubts. We have to continue in our process. "Of course we have had disappointing moments but we can survive and we have the confidence to qualify for the Champions League."

Nevermind, click-bait Skysports changing the entire tune of the interview. www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/31886671Angel Di Maria to stay Manchester United next year - Louis van Gaal Winger Angel Di Maria will be a Manchester United player next season, according to manager Louis van Gaal. Poor form and his dismissal in the 2-1 FA Cup quarter-final defeat by Arsenal had led to speculation the record £59.7m signing may seek a move away. But Van Gaal said: "I think he'll stay. His reaction and attitude after the defeat and the red card has been good." The Dutchman also said United's owners, the Glazer family, were "pleased" with his management of the club. The United manager, who defended the attitude of out-of-favour striker Radamel Falcao on Friday, also backed Di Maria before Sunday's Old Trafford meeting with Tottenham (kick-off 16:00 GMT). The 27-year-old Argentine, signed from Real Madrid last August, has not scored and has contributed just three assists in his last 10 appearances since 1 December. He has had to move home after an attempted burglary at his Cheshire house. "Despite that incident... he is very pleased to be here at Manchester United," Van Gaal said. "I am always compassionate about a player's needs and although I cannot say anything for definite about his future, I don't think he will move." Van Gaal, who has been criticised for his tactics and style of play during his debut season in English football, also spoke about his own future at United and said he had "faith" that he would see out his three-year contract. "I have spoken with the Glazers and because of those discussions I am here now," he said. "I think they are pleased with my way of managing the club."

Its a weird situation. We have seen with Veron how a big money transfer can bit you on the ass and hit you in the pocket...but the papers were full of stories how PSG would pay the full amount we paid for ADM, a get out of jail card if ever I saw one. Do we keep him and take the risk while the resale value could drop dramatically. I like him and think he is class but we are playing better without him which speaks volumes at the minute.

For a guy who is not in the right place or moment , he sure has notched up some pretty good numbers with assists and hasn't really come out and said anything untoward the Club. Plus its his first season, i still remember the funny headlines and stories with Ronaldo, Evra and Vida.
