Made up for the guy. Endured 4 years of shit when he should never have been found guilty in the first place. Just hope that he's able to get on with his life now and be treated as such.

Some serious compensation due here mate. I doubted his guilt from minute one. Jess Ennis and Charlie Webster turn my stomach with their public witch hunt in trying to destroy an innocent man. I fucking hope they are held to account by the media.

Have to hold my hands up and say he's had the conviction quashed, so he's innocent. Law's the law. Rape is a hot button topic for me so I tend to go off the deep end but if he didn't do it then mea culpa. Kudos for holding your hands up. Was half expecing you to dig your heels in over this! Happy for the bloke because I always thought it was a bullshit conviction but I've seen some people gloating which is equally out of order. A family has been through some shit and let's not forget he was more than happy to cheat on the mother of his child. Shit bloke but not a rapist

I had him down as innocent but he was still bang out of order. Needs to learn now he's going to be a father and hopefully he can ressurect his career. Been doing surprisingly well for someone out so long.

Gutted for him to be honest. If he's innocent then he's served 3 year for nothing

What bothered me about this case was/is how black and white people see it. It's all grey in this one. It was he said/she said which I was wasn't comfortable with so I went not guilty as I thought you needed something substantial to send someone to jail over. This case should be studied to help rape cases in the future.

First court think there Wasnt enough evidence she consented. Second one think there Wasnt enough she didn't which is how it's supposed to be judged. Innocent until proven guilty. Whole thing was a shambles.

This has een lost in the trial by media but i believe she went to the police because she thought she had been drugged. This would not have been done by Ched Evans because he was not with her when it would of happened. There were no rape drugs in her system but there was cocain and weed which she admitted to taking and she also admitted to drink double vodkas all night so the police charged Ched with rape as she might have been too out of it to consent.

In rape trials, defence lawyers are banned from cross-examining an alleged victim about their sexual behaviour or history to protect them from humiliating treatment.
But there can be exceptional reasons to ditch that rule in the interests of a fair trial. The Court of Appeal said Mr Evans's case was one of those very rare exceptions.
It said that two other men who had sex with the woman had described their encounters with her in highly specific terms that were virtually indistinguishable from Mr Evans's own account of what had happened.
One of the encounters occurred days before the alleged rape - and the other in the days that followed.
On each occasion the woman had been drinking heavily and the sex occurred in a very specific way - including the words she used to encourage her partner.
Each time she woke up saying she had no memory of what had happened.
Lady Justice Hallett, one of the country's top judges, said that these events were so similar to what Mr Evans had described that a jury had to hear about them before deciding whether the woman had been incapable of giving her consent.

I always doubted the verdict because of the lack of evidence and how sketchy it all was. Whether she lied or not she knowingly knew what she was doing. Hope he gets all the compo he deserves. Sad that one party gets protected and an innocent one gets dragged through the shit. Whether he's allowed to get on with his life in peace of not the damage is done, the label will never completely disappear. Should never have been convicted in the first place. The only thing he's guilty of is doing the dirty on his missus, so at best he's an idiot. Glad the lad got the verdict he should have got in the first place though.
