Anyway I wish Blind well, he's a good footballer and I think he usually performed solidly for us when he played. Probably been misused throughout his time here as well, really wanted to see him get a proper run in midfield.

Proper footballer wasted as a makeshift centre back. Didn't have the pace to be a really top class left back in the Premier League but certainly should have been given more opportunities in midfield. Could have stepped into Carrick's role easily if given the chance.
Deserves to be playing every week for a club who will appreciate him. Good luck to him.

Annoyed at this. The lad was good for us considering he was shifted from position to position. Still think he would have been better as a defensive midfielder. Very good at reading the ball and shame he's gone back to Ajax.
Even more pissed that we seem to be getting rid of players like him and extending contracts and keeping utter fucking shite.

One of if not the best left foot we had from set pieces in the entire squad - at least, when it comes to crossing a ball.
Versatile, committed and never kicked up a fuss even though he only made 7 appearances last season.
Happy to see him go back to his old club, good luck Daley.

Blind didn’t have the hustle and bustle to play in a premier league midfield. Thinking he could do the Carrick role based on the fact he’s not quick and a decent passer is a madness.

The guy was a gentleman really, never a moments bother with him. Always remember his goal against the Dippers, he was a sound lad.
Agree with Karma, there was a few who deserved to go before him, most definitely.
