Going to go against the grain here and be as respectful as I can but apparently they're going to sing the French anthems or do something during the games tomorrow. Getting a bit much now isn't it. I'm all for showing respect and it was truly awful what happened, but they showed their respect during midweek, to drag it on still is a bit o.t.t.

Might as well rename the premier league Ligue 1 while we're at it.

Don't recall the French, Americans or any other nation singing the British anthem during the 7/7 bombings.

Don't mean this to come across as me being harsh but I don't usually hold back saying stuff so won't start now.

I like the idea purely because La Marseillaise is a bloody brilliant anthem. Wish God Save the Queen had more of a stirring quality to it in all honesty.

As an anthem it sucks. Simply because the queen can get fucked. But still its being dragged on a fair bit now.

This. When it comes to national anthems, la Marsellaise is on a league of its own.
