I've always thought that the best teams usually have silent January windows, although sometimes there are exceptions - Henrik Larsson for example. Perhaps Griezy is another...

Totally over Greizmann. Get someone who actually wants to be here. Not Sanchez then. Given his 'first choice is to work with Pep.'

Totally over Greizmann. Get someone who actually wants to be here. That's a bit unfair to him. We all moan, say football is fucked and blame the players when they go chasing the money. He decided to stay for one more year as a sign of respect for Simeone and for a club that had faith in him. I was disappointed but I have nothing but respect for him and for his decision and I'm sure that if it wasn't for Atleti's ban, he'd be here right now.

People saying greizmann just stayed out of respect and for simeone etc, does nobody actually think he just didn't want the move,
I'm not being funny but the move was available to him, what's saying we will go for him or need him nx year, if he really wanted to come to us he would of it was athletico who was in the wrong not him.
I think he stays in Spain prob and will be Barca or real his nx move

His agent at the time admitted it but the second the ban was announced he decided to stay out of respect. I was gutted at the time but I'm very thankful we got Lukaku instead, he probably fits what we needed more, especially in the league.

It only changed when Atletico's ban was upheld. He'll be a United player next season, I'm sure of it.

If Griezmann wanted to stay at Atletico long term, his contract would have contained a huge buy out clause. It's apparently unchanged making the move easy. Only downside is that a number of clubs will be lining up for him next year because he is a huge bargain in this insane market. We have to perform well in the league and have a decent run in the champions league to ensure he stays interested.

He won't go to Real, if anything he is loyal.
