Valencia still hasn't learned English so it's possible. I think Valencia knows more than he lets on. It certainly hasn't affected his playing ability. There was a good article on espn about Gareth bale's time in Spain this summer where they touch on his failure to pick up the language and how it's negatively affected his relationship with the media and teammates. Thats fine then, he won't need to learn another language when he comes back to the UK will he

Van Nistelrooy didn't have 'dodgy knees'. He had a knee injury. A bad one, yes, but it was the only one of his career. At a relatively young age too.

I'd take Jonny Evans back in a heartbeat. He's ten times the player Smalling is, although I like Jones if he can stay fit. And Evans'd walk into that city team. Hope they don't go back in for him in January.

Still probably the best CB in the league. Add him next to Bailly next season and could easily be the best two CBs in the PL side by side.

From BBC Gossip this morning......
Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea, 26, has asked Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos to sort his move to the Bernabeu. (Diario Gol - in Spanish)
I like the fact that DDG has stayed pretty quiet about all the Real Madrid noise. Even pre and post fax machine drama. I do wonder if this is his last season though, his silence now seems to speaking volumes, he's never come out and rubbished the rumours has he (other than the fact that he's still here).
So, assuming he is set to move in the next summer transfer window, who would you have as keeper? Would be nice to have Jasper Schmicheal I reckon. Great keeper, great name and seems like a good fit........always plays well at Old Trafford.
