Fergies to blame LMFAO!!! That's the theme now??
4 years and 3 managers, with over 600M spent and Fergies to blame! haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
How come every other top club can change their manager or do it several times and and turn it around with less spent in some cases. Bayern, Barca, Real, Chelsea, Juve
Let's see how easy the ride Jose gets if we are 5th in a couple of months. Woodward is top of my shit list, because he hired 3 of the most boring football coaches in world football. If we don't get 4th this year, that will be 3 years in a row Mourinho has fucked it at top clubs in the PL. It's all about Jose except when it's going badly then it's all about his players and the board.
I've already highlighted the mistakes in the transfer window and the areas he's failed to address. He could have bought the right players but hasn't and we are playing a style of football that is no different to that under Van Gaal, the difference is he has spent more and has a better squad of players.
Spurs have just come through a tough patch of games and gained 6 points on us. We have Chelsea, Palace away and the Dippers next. They have 4 games against the bottom 6

That is the single worst thing about the club at this and any moment of the last 13 years. They are toxic.

The spat with the old owners was obviously a mess, but there's no way he could have predicted how poisonous their replacements would be. I get the sense if he kicked up a fuss we would have just ended up with the Glazers and no Fergie, which would have obviously been even worse.

They have 4 games against the bottom 6 Despite the margin that we won the league with that team was on a serious decline. Our best players were well past their best. How good were Vidic, Rio, Evra, Van Persie, Giggs, Rooney after Fergie left ? Giggs should have retired about 5 years before he did. I've not met many United fans who rated Nani. Cleverly was as bang average as you get. Chuck in the chuckle brothers and Evans. Don't forget Anderson. Rooney should have left with Fergie.😂😂 If we hadn't committed managerial suicide after Fergie left then a quality manager would have added a few decent players and moved quite a few on. Fergie get everything out of that last team but it was on its last legs. Any wonder Pep turned his nose up. He was never going to risk a project like that. We had 6 of his old guard on the pitch on Sunday. That penny pinching during his last few years came back to bite us big time.

Chelsea, City, etc have completely different teams since 4 years ago and let go a lot of ageing players, so that argument is BS imo. You could argue that the spending in the last year or so was held back for a new manager. Mourinho has had 4 windows to clear out some of these players. He loves Fellaini and he didn't deem it neccesary to buy an experienced CB or add another badly needed CM. We didn't need another 10 in Mikki or need Perisic and although he didn't get him that was his intention or focus. He has insited on playing Pogba in a 2, with a 29 year old who looks jaded. Herrera looked good last year but is ignored this year Despite the slagging of Jones and the back four (Fergies) and De Gea we still have the least amount of goals conceded this year and on average the best defence in the league the last 4 years, despite having the worst resources in MF particularly defensive mids. We don't win games particularly against good teams, because our mf is shit or set up wrong and the attack isn't coached well or doesn't click and they move the ball too slowly. You don't lose a game against Newcastle because of 1 goal conceded, it's because you don't create enough chances and MF doesn't win enough ball and distribute it quick enough. I just can't buy the argument that a team with Rashford and Martial, Lingard, Lukaku, Sanchez, Mata and Pogba can't play exciting football. It's 4.5 years since Fergie left and everyone else has different players and coaches at the top clubs. We are second at the moment, but I don't think we will be at the end of the season, once he starts focusing on whatever silverware is available and we run into a period of games against top 5 teams

Change that to after we sold Ronaldo at the very least A world class player replaced with Valencia, Obertan and Owen. As for comparing us with Chelsea and City. The difference is their owners put money in, ours take it out and have been for the last 13 years. No value in the market = I'm making do. You don't think it was a coincidence we signed so many duff players in Fergies last few seasons. Since Ronaldo left the only decent signings were Van Persie and De Gea. Another had potential but Fergies successors both decided he wasn't worth the bother. As for Newcastle we did lose one game because of one goal conceded. We created more than enough chances but our forwards failed to score. As for the best defence in the league, somehow that didn't comfort me when Jones was smashing one into our own net against Spurs which effectively ended that game. Or our defence getting caught out with the early goal which the manager had warned them about prior to the game.

We did deserve to lose because we played the same back 4 who didn't learn from their mistakes after Spurs. Oh and our forwards bottled it-again.

The goal against Newcastle wasn’t the fault of any of the back four bar Smalling. And even he was slightly unlucky (not with the free, that was ridiculous). The goal came from Pogba not bothering to jump from the free and Lukaku allowing Ritchie to run into the box without bothering to track him.

The problem is if we do concede we often don't look like we can go onto win. We had plenty of chances to get a goal after they scored but again we failed in front of goal. Not taking our chances seems to have continued from last season. Look at Basle away the game should have been over at half time but we ended up losing. Against Leicester we should have battered them but failed to take our chances. You can ignore bad defending at times but our forwards are often just as guilty for failing to score when they should.

Fair enough but had the ref done his job Newcastle should have had a penalty before that.
