At the moment based on form, two of our most talented players, Pogba and Alexis are not doing nearly enough. They are both in poor form, for whatever reason. We really need those two to start putting in big performances and we could have a really good season. It remains to be seen, but here's hoping You think they are trying to do too much perhaps? I get the sense both players are taking one touch to many instead of just passing and moving. The amount of times Alexis controlled the ball, turned into trouble and lost it last night was astonishing. Pogba is apparently trying to “Hollywood pass” himself out of his dip in form instead of, again, just picking the simple pass and using his speed and physique to move into space. I think the set up is in experiment believe it or not. I can see Sanchez dropping too deep and trying to create, which is not his forte( 19 times he gave it away last night and created very little. His strength is in that area on the left and would be better if he had a decent LB working it with him. Then there's the question of Martial and Rashford, because if he plays there, they don't We also look better with Mata on the Right or 10 You could drop Pogba(controversial for games) have Mata play as a 10 with Matic and McTominay, then Sanchez, Lukaku and Martial as a front three interchanging. Joses job to get that working. We have the best squad we have had in many years and some phenomenal attacking players, but don't seem to really click yet. The game this weekend will be very interesting to see how we cope against a frantic press and very good attack.

HA! Oh you was being serious? We're not winning that, not a hope in hell. The way he has up playing away from home if we go up against any of the bigger sides then the tie will be over before the 2nd leg. The best we can hope for is a bit more of a run if we're lucky a 1/4 final draw against Schalke would be nice. We've been pretty lucky in cup draws last 2 years

Pogba isn't living up to his fee and superstar status, not even close.
There's so much potential in this team from the likes of Pogba Sanchez and Martial but it's just not happening.

Mata has to play, we need someone like him with a cool head to beat their press. Match feels similar to the Juanfield game to me. They are getting their knobs slobbered on by the press, people expecting them to run riot and we bring them back down to earth. Here’s hoping for a repeat of that fine day.

Long story short... I arrived in Abu Dhabi a couple of hours ago... Got to the hotel and two things are o with the obvious...there is a twat of an arab (no racialism) who is talking interminably with the guy on reception...the bar (tv) is closed...I know that the hotel across the road will be showing the match... so I leave my stuff and walk to the other hotel...we are 1-0 down as I walk in and as I get my beer and 2-0 down before I sit down...shit... A 'lady' at the bar with a 'client' empathises with me but I say - not a problem, time for the big come back - and then it happens... I cannot say how wonderful it feels to watch us do what we did...reminiscent of Fergie's best... Really proud of the lads and the way we didn't give up...slightly squiffy but oh so fucking happy... What are you trying to say? I think she was probably a lawyer or something...
