Do Portugal. It’s by far and away my favourite European country.

St.Ives in Cornwell is another place to hit, went there with my mate on leave in the army in 1974, lovely beach and lovely town centre, we actually drove down the coastline and stopped at St.Just and Penzance, it was a 2-week army leave break and I bloody enjoyed it.
I cant remember which place it was (above) but on the beach they had a big rock formation and when the tide was in it would crash around the rock formation but when the tide was out you could walk to the rock formation and go inside an old pirates cave from medievil times cut into the rocks, the pirates had cut a hole into the rock looking out to sea.
What they would do is settle in until the tide came in and would wave a lantern at the hole and any ship would think it was a lighthouse beacon and ships would end up crashing into the rocks and the pirates would then scavage the wrecked ships when the tide went out.

If your traveling to england u defo need to visit denton in manchester hidden gem it is, we have everything a pure gym a morrisons and kebab shop what else could u want Heywood - land of the pound shops, hairdressers and estate agents. The lake district in the UK is stunning. Avoid Windermere and head further north to Keswick. I haven't been for years but York is also worth a visit. I believe the pubs are fantastic with some great ales on. why avoid Windermere ? Bowness is a great tourist spot with loads of nice bars and restaurants. but I agree to visit the lake district, its a beautiful place and is on the UNESCO world heritage site list as of last year. im not too far away from there

I find it too touristy. I prefer the northern end. I'm sure many find it great, its just too much for me!

In a massive turn of events. I decided not go to and postpone the Europe trip. Instead, I am in Nepal and going to hike to Everest. I have saved all of your advice and will probably go next summer.

Lazy ass. Don’t just hike to that little hill, summit that shit. I’m going to 5,800M. Spending the first couple of days In Kathmandu to get used the time change. Summit is 9,000M. I would love to summit Everest but the highest mountain I’ve ever summitted was pikes peak in Denver Colorado which is 4,302M.

The author has done some incredible hikes. Check out his PCT guide, could be another challenge for you. My friend did the base camp last year. They pushed on for another 1000 metres, but his partner became really ill with altitude sickness. They very nearly had to medivac him out.

Yeah I’m already taking meds for Edema and altitude sickness. I’m drinking 2-3 Liters of water a day and making sure I stay hydrated at all times. I bought electrolyte pills too. I’ve been reading his guide and his tips are amazing. Thank god I brought tons of toilet paper. Lol
