I wouldn't go for a single current top manager. I'd go for someone who is earning their chance at a top club. The likes of Simeone, Klopp, Pep and Zidane were all no one as managers until the were given the chance and took it.

Zidane took over over a great team. Ronaldo has been saving his bacon now for some time now mind. Klopp's last season at Dortmund was pretty bad if I remember. Pool are patient though, 2 failed cup finals, 8th and a narrow 4th. Do you think he would have got that time at United? They have been pretty decent this season but last season they weren't that great despite some good wins against good teams. No European football, out early in the FA cup, Wolves I think it was. They were awful against Southampton in the league cup semi finals and were worthy losers. He's in his 3rd season now. Pep i will leave for another day Simeone I like . No manager is a guarantee but after Moyes only a manager who has a decent CV will be considered imo.

My first and only visit to OT this year. I had a great day up until I walked in to the stadium... What a shit show... Found the reason we lost everyone.

Would you include Pocchettino in that? given their lack of wages and ability to buy or hold top players. They spend less than Everton

Does anyone else think we are worse since Sanchez came. I know he had a decent game last week second half, but on the whole he's been shit and demands the ball deep all the time

It's quite telling, that after the City result the manager knew they were confident, and buzzing. He said he spent the whole week trying to stop them feeling like that.

It tells me they were over confident. Dont forget City beating Spurs the day before which also may have popped a few bubbles. Had Spurs not been so poor and got a result I wonder if they might have been more up for it?

Like I said earlier, that 2nd half against City was the anomaly, not the norm. But he almost tried to strip away any confidence to entertain the fans, have a bit of fun. Top 4 is nailed on already, unleash them. If the players didn't follow his instructions to play more direct, he's lost them already. if he told them to play like that, he's losing the fans because that was boring as shit and he's lost them by throwing them under the bus by blaming them. If we lose the F.A cup game I'm not watching another game this season

Same problems but it has disrupted us more than before he came, that's not his fault either. Hes been told to play so he's hardly gonna say no. The reason its been a disruption is because of Jose and his fucking ego. Sanchez came in when Martial was in a good bit of form, Rashford was doing ok then he switches one of them and drops the other or both to accommodate Sanchez. Sanchez barring 2 or 3 games has been piss poor, countlessly giving the ball away in most games he's played, yet still keeps Martial and Rashford on the bench. People talk about good his man management has been but hes fucked up this season just as much with it, Martial, Rashford and Shaw. 3 promising youngsters that atm are basically being left high and dry and have done very little to deserve it. Shaw I would say is an exception however since his return from injury he barely put a foot wrong, praised publicly by Jose himself then dropped for no reason what so ever then slated publicly, that's not great man management at all.

One of Fergies strengths was adapting to the changes in personalities of footballers over the years. Jose doesn't seem to have adapted at all.
Every player has to be a John Terry who buys into his blood and thunder, us against the world shit. Everyone already hates united, don't need to go down that route

Shaw isn't good enough imo but I'd doubt we're going to agree so I'll leave it there.
