Sorry guys but once again Martial and Rashford just not good enough. The Manager’s comments after the game are aimed at these two. Wouldn’t be surprised if they both left at the end of the season. How about you introduce yourself in the link below djm. republikofmanc.proboards.com/board/16/new-members

Whoever you are you have to measure yourself against the top sides, that's Citeh at the moment and apart from DeGea and Fellaini no one else would get a game... lighten up guys we are shit

It's felt like a end of season damp squib since before the West Brom game. City winning against Spurs the night before pretty much finished any long shot of United performing a miracle. Let's face it how many of those starters tonight could you give a good argument to keep? Pep would get cull 75 per cent of this team imo if he was in charge. We have collected so many bang average players and paid them handsomely for the privilege. Fa cup aside the end of the season can't come quickly enough. I suppose it's too much to ask that this team can motivate themselves to put in a winning performances against Chelsea in the cup? Any team can get themselves up for a Cup Final, when the sun will be shining and the eyes of the world will be on them. It’s the humdrum, the boring, the run of the mill fixtures which you deal with efficiently that sets the good teams apart. What galls me about what Utd have become is precisely what they were like in the 80s- flashy, inconsistent and unable to get themselves up for the unglamorous games. Fergie drilled that into his sides because thats what wins titles. He saw what Liverpool did and made us do the same and then better. We became more than a cup team. 2nd is fine but the league was over in February. We’ll continue to be a Cup Team until we stop dropping stupid points to the likes of Brighton, Huddersfield and West Brom. That sums it up perfectly !!!

it wouldn't bother me in the slightest if Jose left and took Fellaini, Darmian, Smalling and Rojo with him.
these players aren't good enough!
I have defended Fellaini as a plan C but how fucking rubbish is he and why is he starting. he cant link up play, he cant control a game, he gets in the way and spaces of other players and he cant run.
Darmian is the worst united defender I have ever seen and whoever buys him are bonkers. hes let us down so many times.
Martial and Rashford were absolutely terrible, we see some glimpses of brilliance, but last night they weren't even good enough to play championship level. they have played a few times recently too so its not because they aren't match fit/sharp. they deserve to be nowhere near this starting line up yet.
what did mata do ? nothing. its always going to be hard for him playing on the RW with no pace behind him supporting.
Jose has to take responsibility for the tactics, system, player choice and coaching of these players. we don't have any attacking systems or patterns, the players don't know where each other should be/should be running, we cant pass fluidly for a consecutive period of time and we cant get up for these games. that's down to Jose no matter what way you try spin it. that's a managers job.

A bit of positive from me today.........
David De GodStar is the best keeper in the world. Ashley Young works Hard. Shaw looked good as a sub. Big Belgium cockwomble got subbed off. Darmian has probably played his last game Lingard is a proper United player, gets about his business well and always gives his all. Herrera (sitting on the bench) looked like he was kicking every ball, he cares, he cares a lot ! I have to say, a midfield without Herrera is no midfield at all ! Martial and Rashford are still very young, and young ones can be forgiven for their poor games. McTominay looked good as a sub. The shirts look good too.
Have I missed anything other than spelling or grammar?

still fumin. what a waste of fucking time watching that. its an absolute disgrace the players are performing like that just because theres not much to play for. have some respect to the fans that have travelled to the other end of the country to watch them and for the people spending their Friday nights watching them. fans look forward to games all week, it helps us get through the monotony of work and they just fuck around not giving a shit. they have an FA cup final in a couple of weeks and some of them are fighting for World Cup places and they just don't look interested. they're strolling around like its a training match.
we are in a whole lot of trouble if big rom is out for the final

I'm so bored of listening to this egotistical wanker after games now. The contradiction in his comments last night are laughable. Such a hateful cunt.

So he's not a kid then, these lads have been brought on from a very young age these days, he looked better two years ago..where's the progress? Jesus wept, he’s absolutely a kid. He wouldn’t get served a beer in most bars in America. Young players are, barring a very odd exception, inconsistent. At the same age Ronaldo scored just 12 goals and started nearly every game that season. Guess what? He was maddeningly inconsistent.

Rashford and Martial are not kids anymore ffs they have been average at best. Who would of though sterling would have been so important to city this season it's crazy when a manager instills confidence in a player and gets a tune out of them. Jose has done the total opposite with them 2 which is probably why we get the poor performances when they start once every month or so

Yorkie on JM's influence: Dwight Yorke has launched a stinging attack on Manchester United's style of play under Jose Mourinho and claimed they would win the title with Pep Guardiola. Mourinho insisted before Friday's trip to Brighton that he had no problem with David de Gea being United's Player of the Year for the fourth time in five seasons - despite admitting last year that 'something is wrong' if the goalkeeper gets the award.
But Yorke, a key member of the swashbuckling Treble winners of 1999 who now works as a United ambassador, compared Mourinho unfavourably to Manchester City boss Guardiola and claimed the Portuguese is not being true to the club's attacking traditions. 'Look on the blue half of Manchester,' said Yorke. 'Don't tell me those players are so far superior to the players we have. We've got a very strong attacking line-up. The difference is they've got a manager who thinks positive and plays attacking football. We have a manager who wants to win 1-0 and be defensive.'
Asked by Dubai Eye radio station if United would win the league and score 100 goals like City with Guardiola in charge, Yorke said: 'I think they would definitely win the league, because he's on the front foot. He's playing attacking football.'
United striker Romelu Lukaku will miss Friday night's game as he receives treatment on an ankle injury, but he is expected to be fit for the FA Cup final against Chelsea on May 19.
Meanwhile, Mourinho remains hopeful that Marouane Fellaini will sign a new contract.
'I'm still positive,' he said.
'The offer he has now on the table is a better offer than he had six or eight months ago. It's a process. But if he leaves, so be it.'
(Daily Mail)Just on what Dwight Yorke said there, he usually is extremely supportive of Jose and he toe's the party line when he's on MUTV. Even he's beginning to turn on the manager. It's a matter of time before the majority of fans do. Next season people will start revolting, before Christmas I'm predicting, because the style isn't changing anytime soon.
