I have no problem with that. If you scroll through my posts from a few months ago , that's what I said about Rashford especially. That he needs time , he has to buckle down and learn the ropes and commit to hard work. But when Martial thinks he knows better than a manager who has won 25 trophies in his career, and agitates for a move because he feels he should play regular football , and because he thinks he deserves a place above Alexis Sanchez ( who has proved through the years what type of a player he is), it signals to me that he's ready to be judged as a man and not a boy. It tells me that he wants to be considered as a superstar or as the main man. If that's the case, he is not a kid anymore and he is open to criticism , just like Alexis Sanchez has been copping these past weeks. The playing field has to be even for all in my opinion. I do have a problem, quite like I had with the Giggs shagging his brother's wife. Fair enough, and I said he's open to criticism. However, Sanchez is on his prime whilst Martial is 22. It's perfectly natural that he wants more regular football and he should get more minutes than he's currently getting because he was one of the best players of the season. The most likely scenario is that he will sign his extension and this will go away. The thing questioned is that performance-wise, it's natural that both Rashford and Martial have inconsistent performances given their age. I meant the inconsistent performances ! Not the love rat/ cheat bit. That is not something I condone. Martial's personal life is an utter distraction I think. He should lock down and focus only on football but he keeps making questionable choices which no doubt impact him overall.

Which I don't disagree with . And which is also why I'm fucked off with Martial. He should have been locked in, raring to go. All that frustration and anger of being sat out unfairly, coming out in one glorious explosion of football. As I've said before, it's difficult to suddenly be thrust into the team when you haven't been playing and out of form. Particularly when the player knows a good performance will likely still not guarantee another chance in the next game. This is also how I’m assuming most of the players who were suddenly given minutes towards the end of last season felt. They probably knew that no matter how they played they won’t play in the Europa league final, they were just getting minutes in order to keep others fresh (which is fine and that’s why we have a squad, but obviously Jose has undroppables and certain conditions don’t apply for them).

I condone both hahaha but I do understand that at his age, footballers are prone to inconsistent performances and that does not mean they're shit as some posters suggested.

Being that young does influence their style of play and judgment. They’re not close being the finished article. Rashford has shown instances of poor judgment and so has martial. That’s a part of being young and dumb which all of us went through. Although, that doesn’t mean they are not responsible for their performances. They need time to develop and there’s great literature on cognition and executive functioning in young athletes. Here’s a paper: journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0034731And when have I said they shouldn't be held accountable for their own performances? You can see me criticising all of them yesterday by the way. I don’t disagree with you dude. All I have been doing is adding onto your points.

Martial gets one game where fucking Fellaini is the midfield Maestro FFS. Rashford too working on the wing. They are supposed to perform and prove themselves, that is total nonsense. Then he does his presser basically damning them
Mourinho doesn't do young talent. He's basically full of shit, but makes a big deal of McTominay at the awards etc. The man is clever, but so full of shit it's annoying. Martial would be amazing in a front 3 with the right COACH!
Salah doesn't play as a winger under Klopp, trotting back and forth. That's why he is so good now. The same at Roma although it was better for him there than Chelsea. That Dipper team is so light on paper, we basically have two front 3's to their one, even City on paper that team 2 years ago. We should be so much better but silly bollocks probably wants Perisic, because that's how he sees that type of player!
Martial will be off and will flourish under the right coach

Thinking about it since, I'm not unconvinced he would do that just to be a dick and prove some kind of point he believes he has.

That Fellaini performance. Neville said at one point when Fellaini was standing in the box near the far post. "stay there that's your job that basically all you are good at" Obviously not much love lost there based on recent comments, but still. This is a player the coach is asking us to go against the policy of one yaer contract for. I don't even understand why he is getting one year!

Thinking about it since, I'm not unconvinced he would do that just to be a dick and prove some kind of point he believes he has. I didn't say he did that and wouyld consider that nonsense. I just meant in one off games like that where the team is disjointed. He expects young players not regularly playing to do a ballon d'or. Then he cryptically criticises them. He wanted the club to sign Perisic and didn't care about Martial. He doesn't know how to get the most out of Rashford either He wanted a player who was basically an attacking full back/wing back. That's fine he wanted balls in the box for Lukaku and Ibra if he stayed and a player who would track back and tackle too. That was his train of thought He's right if that's what he wants, but we have the players who could match any front 3 who play that kind of attacking football, but it needs to be coached and encouraged and played regularly. He's here for anther two years with Fellaini. I just hope the club says fuck off to Fellaini, but Woodward will give in, which means Mourinho is here for at lest another 2 years! BLISS

Give Jose a functual player who works hard, can run etc and they will flourish. Give him a mercurial talent that needs bringing through etc and I personally think he struggles, struggles to see the players strengths, struggles to accept that a team needs to be built to cover up that players short comings because there is enough talent in that player to score, create, get bums off seats and win trophies. As most will have realised I am tired of Jose, he has brought us along, players now know what it’s like to win trophies, they know there is an expectation, we now genuinely have a top attack. With the right manager and 2 midfield signings and a right back at the very least we have a team that should be playing attacking football and challenging for the league.

Jose needs an excuse to throw his toys out of the pram and blame the exec for his failures. this may be the one he hangs his hat on should we do the smart thing and fell the Tree.

Godspeed to such a scenario. Mourinho gets a polite nod from me for dumping PHC. But he loses all that good will if he resign Tree. One step forward, two steps back.
