It's magic this place. Only on RoM could a heated argument about the forum's inevitable demise turn into a conversation about putting Marmite in your fucking gravy. Anyway, them Marmite crisps Walkers did about 10 year ago were actually alright. Still available..........still momentous !!!!!!!! Have you tried Marmite coated peanuts. Found in LIDL along with Branson pickle flavoured ones. A special buy only unfortunately. Get them when you can.

Yeah he bit on the grammar part straight away saying everyone should use correct grammar. Nevermind the fact that we have many people on the forum from differing levels of education, background and nationality. He also complained about my point about opinions, liking it to space travel. An astronauts opinion being more important than someone who looked at the sky or something along those lines. The difference being Bestie is not a former Man United player, nor a staff member at the club. In fact to my knowledge he isn't a former professional footballer. If there is anyone here with those credentials then they have absolutely more weight to their opinions than I have. I played football as a child. I had trials at pro teams. I definitely didn't take it seriously enough because I always wanted to be a wrestler. That and I probably wasnt good enough to begin with! I did however play for a club in Belfast, my school, and University. I've supported this club for 30 years. I've been to Old Trafford over 100 times. I have friends who are football journalists. My opinion still means the same as everyone else. I withdrew my comment as I didn't want to inflame anything, but fuck it. I've had enough. My remark about the equality of every opinion boils down to this. You are confusing the perfectly reasonable expectation of an equal opportunity to have opinions heard (read really, on a forum); that does not entitle people to having their opinions automatically be taken as equal with others. 'My opinion is just as relevant as his!!' is a nonsense. The weight of an opinion is down to the person/people receiving it. Personally, the more someone knows about a particular topic, the more I value their opinions on that topic. The apparent lack of knowledge on here is pathetic at times. But your are a moderator on a United fan forum with the title in your username of fuck the manager and fuck one of the team. Yet you turn into an upperty cunt with folk who have a different opinion.................And yet opinions are just like arse holes, we all have one, my grammar and spelling are pretty shit, also. "The weight of an opinion is down to the person/people receiving it" Very true, but when the person/people who have their names in gold (read the authorities) are confrontational or dismissive, surely that diminishes the very forum we are on. I suppose it comes down to philosophy, if one spends their time concentrating on the negatives, then that is all one will see. I like to look at the positives, but lets be honest, there have been very few on field positives these past 5 years. I read this forum and occasionally interact as there are folk like Bestie who have some great insights and opinions, ones that challenge my own, make me think. It's not always a pleasant experience (having ones views challenged) but a good conversation helps us to grow. However, I am disappointed to discover that we have lost a forum member due to their interactions with the forums admin and mods. This should be a place for open and frank discussions where ones opinions should be welcome as a discussion point rather than dismissed and belittled. I've given up on this forum in the past.......I just wish we could all try a little harder to look at the positives. I know this aint always easy. Being a United fan these past few years aint been easy at all, but we do all have one common thread folks, we are United.

The sole purpose of Marmite is to have it on toast! Stick some marmite in your gravy though. Epic. I have it on toast but not with butter. Sounds a bit much. The butter is the best part.

Lads...relax. I’ve been busy at work and haven’t had the time to post lately. No big deal. I haven’t gone anywhere.
Or...I’ve missed something and this wasn’t all about me, in which case...wtf is going on?!?
