TBF, Jones didn't do him any favours passing to him in that position. He was immediately under pressure. Not having that. He has options to pass it back to Jones, or straight to De Gea. He tried a trick, tripped over himself. Instead if he looks for a man, I am quite sure he finds a couple. That's a proper brainfart. Edit: Yup, he's also got Matic in space on his right side. No excuses. He's got to take his lumps on this one. If it was Jones or Smalling doing what Periera did then many on here would think differently. Unfortunately Periera has to own that one. Its a mistake, they all make them so not gonna beat the lad up about it. As I've already said we should have been out of sight by then. Could argue the Rashford miss was just as much of a mistake. Could see what he was trying to do but he should have put his laces through it instead. Aslong as lessons are learnt from last night then its not the end of the world, we pulled it back in typical united fashion so the determination is there. 8 wins from 9, Fellaini on the verge of leaving. I'd say Ole's doing a pretty good fucking job so far

The more I look at Rashford's miss, the more angered I get. I don't know what he was trying to do. The keeper has already gone down even before he has attempted to shoot ! Just bloody thump it in the net !! Argh. Simple things. he was looking for that highlight reel finish, which I don't begrudge him. He needs to learn when its appropriate and when it's not but hopefully that will come - Either that or someone else can score goals alongside him.

I'm still annoyed though..

Needs to stop being out muscled so easioy as well, found a few times last night he was easily pushed off the ball.

Stoll really should have scored it. Well we drew 2-2 instead of winning 3-2 for a start. Never mind that the whole dynamic of the match would have been different if we had scored first and in the first half.

Rashford scores that we prob win 3 nil or something and have a easy game, also with the results as they are at the minute dropping 2 points is rather fucking annoying

Not saying it wouldn't have been. As I said it set us up for the rest but given the chances we had it wasn't the only reason. Easiest however yes.

What’s been made abundantly clear the last few matches is that no manager can come in and magically turn this squad into world beaters. The harsh reality is that there are still structural problems at this club which have resulted in a squad of players who don’t fit a Man United style of play and or who aren’t good enough. Besides the obvious defenders and Fellaini, Mata is too slow and Flukaku can’t control a football enough to play in our side. Like Stew said, the first 11 had better go see Pep’s doctors because they’re going to have to play every game.
Is Pereira good enough? Not really sure, but if the abuse he received for being truly awful yesterday was over the top, so is the abuse given to every manager who doesn’t pick him to start every match. I get people have their pet players and get their knickers in a massive twist when they get criticized or aren’t played but a bit of perspective wouldn’t go awry.
Speaking of perspective I see we’ve gone from finishing 3rd to not even making top 4/season over because we didn’t manage to win one match. Everyone is going to drop points this time of year. Case in point today’s matches.
Lastly, I’m going to make an assumption that we’re all adults on here. There have been a few posters, namely Karma and Heartbreaker who’ve copped abuse because they have unpopular opinions that don’t fit the hive mind. Agree or disagree, that’s what a forum is all about, and why we all post on here. If people say something you don’t agree with, ignore them. If they say it again, ignore them again. I’m sure that’s well within all of our capabilities. Freedom of speech doesn’t exit to protect people when they say things that are popular. It exists precisely to protect people’s ability to say things that aren’t. If we start driving away good posters they get replaced by WUMs like Geo and we turn into something resembling RAWK.
Thanks,
The forum dad.

Then block them. It's one thing to not want to block people willy nilly but the feature is there for a reason; if they annoy or irritate you enough just block their posts.
Some of the posts on here boarder on the pathetic. Pereira doesn't start? Fuck off manager where is he, fucking joke?! Pereira does start but doesn't play that well? Fucking wanker cunt twat.
And we have posts thinking Chong or Gomez or Greenwood should get a chance? Why, so the first time they have a mare they get called useless twaty fucking cunts? People get emotional about football, I get it, but we would rip into Liverpool or City fans if they were treating one of their own young players like that.
And yeah, totally agree about the endless same thing again and again and again; just look at the transfer thread and it's all you see. "We should try and sign Player A" "Ha! With Ed in charge, blah blah blah". "We should sell Player B" "Ha! Ed will probably give them a raise and new contract" We fucking get it, people don't rate Ed and the board, does it really mean you have to remind everyone 47 times a day?

At some point people will start to get over it. I teach 13 year olds for a living. I have plenty of students who blurt out off topic things for a variety of reasons. When I engage, it encourages their behaviour and it continues. When I ignore it, they stop and find adaptive ways of getting my attention or engaging with their peers. If you think posters are constantly repeating a point you don’t agree with, ignore those posts and choose to engage with that poster on other topics. It will have the same effect. If you don’t want to have that same conversation with them over and over again, then don’t have it. Ignore their posts on that topic. Nobody is forcing you or anyone to respond, unless you want to engage on that topic.
