I've never understood how so many average opposition keepers regularly come to OT and play the game of their lives. Fuck, it's annoying!

& then they say it again, & then again & then again. It's 6 months later & it's still the exact same posts again & again & again. At some point people will start to get over it. I teach 13 year olds for a living. I have plenty of students who blurt out off topic things for a variety of reasons. When I engage, it encourages their behaviour and it continues. When I ignore it, they stop and find adaptive ways of getting my attention or engaging with their peers. If you think posters are constantly repeating a point you don’t agree with, ignore those posts and choose to engage with that poster on other topics. It will have the same effect. If you don’t want to have that same conversation with them over and over again, then don’t have it. Ignore their posts on that topic. Nobody is forcing you or anyone to respond, unless you want to engage on that topic. You earned your knighthood right there

Some of us don’t have the option of ignoring others. Freedom of speech is fine but eventually there are limits and it has got nothing to do with having an opinion that runs contrary to the mood of the board

I’ve got no problem with staff doing as you mentioned and fulfilling the responsibility they have to maintain some semblance of decorum on here. I was referring to way lay posters have been acting of late.
