If the team is picked on performance and not reputation and if there are no additions to the side (which looks increasingly likely) then the team vs Chelsea should be DDG AWB, Victor, no fucking idea, Shaw Scott, Pogba, Andreas James, Rashford, Martial The front 3 can inter- change as they see fit. James is a bit raw but his pace will be terrifying for defenders. The core of that team is still so weak. Victor and Pogba are great (when Pogba plays properly anyway), but the other CB, McTominay and Periera all either have a long way to go or are nowhere near good enough. A real shame as the team surrounding it is a good one. I couldn’t disagree more with you about Scott. |

If not what are we going to do for the other 30-40 games that Pogba doesn't feel like turning up for?

Can I also add Fred has only been back with the squad a week. I agree he still has a long way to go to prove himself. But let's reserve judgement when he's 100% (and not along side Matic)

McTominay had bounced Sissoko off the ball in the middle of the park plenty today. Hes ready for the league this year. Thought Pereira looked good and all. Always trying to get into the box with his play. Big year for him and for me he is rising to it

mctominay has been sensational since around the liverpool game last season. out of nothing he just stepped up for all the others missing. deserves huge amounts of respect for the way he stepped up, the way he plays, the way he gives his interviews, pretty much everything. personality wise there is definately future captain material there.
