Really enjoyed that. Very nervous opening and I was beginning to get really worried about our midfield, it looked a wee bit panicked. That goal and the lead up to it really settled us down. It was great to see the little huddle after the goal. Mctominay and Maguire both being really vocal. Looks good. Great performances all over the pitch. Nice to see us playing as a team. Gonna be an interesting season. Looking forward to the wolves match now, we were second best against them last season, I expect a big improvement this time around. The defence, despite being opened up a couple or three times, were pretty good overall. Win or lose, I think the future is going to be a lot easier on the eye.

Good God, who was that cunt who kicked AWB's foot in the beginning of the game ? Fucking hell didn't even get a foul call from Taylor the limp prick. Could have easily broken something.

Lingard was our oldest outfield player. And our starting XI had the youngest average age of all 20 PL clubs this weekend.

Rashford’s second finish really was great. Kind of thing he’d definitely score when he first came into the team but would overthink and mess up more recently. Hopefully this is the start of him being more clinical.

Almost hoping for something negative to say about AWB so I stop hyping him up so much, can't find anything. I'm struggling to remember if I felt this assured with Neville at right back. He was caught out of position once.

Rashford’s second finish really was great. Kind of thing he’d definitely score when he first came into the team but would overthink and mess up more recently. Hopefully this is the start of him being more clinical. He made a mess of an identical chance against Milan from a wonder ball from Vic. I remember getting very annoyed at the time. Great sign he fixed it yesterday.

One thing about Rashford, which makes him almost anti-Lukaku- he scores goals against the big teams.

lovely game yesterday, had to watch the replay due to classes.
Seems Ole had the men playing with a deathly quick counter and is maximising the natural talents he has within the group.
especially glad to see that Greenwood got some minutes and that James scored on debut. the celebrations looked like team moral is high, they were constantly in a group and motivational talks being given by McT.
good day all round.
the cherry on top im hoping was that Ed still got some grief. good game or bad, HE needs to have an awful time when attending games.
