De Gea's bad patch is coming on to years. When he's cost the joint most amount of goals over the last 18 months, that is a worry. Make no mistake, Dave has been poor of late, by his ridiculous standards, but his errors are all mental. To be fair, he literally carried this club on his back with zero help for the better part of 3 years. Man is due a drop in concentration/motivation after all that. Why? It's still his job. I don't get to switch off for a year when I complete a big purchase or settle a big case.

They are 4 very good players. But I would probably only pick 3 or at absolute most 4 of their players for out starting 11. However if you swapped managers then I’m certain we’re a couple of places higher and they’re much lower. Which isn’t good enough for Utd. If we sack Ole, I don't think that there are many PL clubs that would want to hire him.. which is kinda crazy given that he is the manager of Manchester United. Very true.

It's probably been 2 years or so now we're ddg has been making stupid errors, no question he's a great keeper, but imo if a good offer came in we should seriously think about it.

If you were the only one completing purchases or settling cases or pretty much billing any hours at all, and your colleagues still had jobs because you were the only one busting your ass for 3 straight years, at some point you might develop a bit of bitterness and at least subconsciously switch off and expect others to pick up the slack. Listen, I’m not trying to excuse his drop in form so much as understand it, because as you say, he’s been poor for a year now. Criticism is fair and deserved. Talk of selling him is something totally different imo.

The fact we have Romero and Henderson lying in wait youd have thought many more calamities like today and his No.1 status may be reviewed.
I love the guy, he's done amazing work for the club and I dont like to criticise the guy. However the mistakes are stacking up now and all players should be held accountable, especially if the mistakes keep mounting up.

If we had shite back up, and it would just cost us £50M to replace Dave then it'd be far better to stick. But we have the best young keeper in the country waiting to play as well as the best number 2 in the country. You don't need 3 very good/great keepers on your books, someone is going to have to go.

Remember the De Gea v Lindegaard thread where everyone wrote him off? Keepers teach their peak in their mid 30s. DdG is 29. This entire conversation smacks of that thread. Yes, Romero is capable (how did Brugge score again?), and Henderson has potential, but DdG has a much higher ceiling than either one. Romero has already reached his peak and when’s the last time an English keeper was viewed as the best keeper on the planet? Because that’s Dave’s ceiling. You sure you want to short sell that?

Martial is a frustrating player to have. There are times where I want Ole to drag him off and strangle the cunt because he's so fucking lazy. But then out of nowhere he pops up with a bit of magic or a goal, just like he did against Watford. For the time he's been at the club he hasn't reached the level we thought he would and I dont think he will now. But part of me doesn't want to see him leave either because wherever he goes next he will probably go on to reach that level there. At this point there's no point fooling ourselves with Martial - his character is just not going to allow him to fulfill his potential. That being said, he is on course to complete a 20-goal season.. which isn't THAT bad. I wouldn't build a team around Martial, but I also wouldn't be so quick to get rid off him. Agree! Especially when he has been injured for quite a bit. He is much better when he has Rasher to share the burden. And now we have Bruno too! I’m pretty sure, we will hit it off when all 3 are playing together fully fit. Contrary to many, I’m positively itching to see how much does Pogba add to these 3

Really couldn't a rat's arse about Pogba. He's one of a short list of players I hope to never see play for the club again. Fucking moonunit.

Replacing DDG with Henderson is one thing, he’s a very talented homegrown keeper but not a chance do you replace him with Romero.
I must be the only one who doesn’t think he’s that good. Great servant and an able backup to play a handful of games but he’s an accident waiting to happen as a number one.
We do have a big decision to make on goalkeeper though. My only reservation with Henderson is that he’ll need time and there’ll be plenty of bumps in the road as there usually is with young keepers. We’ll have to accept that but these mistakes from Dave have become common place over the last 18 months or so. He’s rightly lost that best keeper in the world tag and seems to be regressing to me.

And Pogba can go fuck himself. That cunt already doesn’t play for us anymore in my mind.

bring Henderson in. make him the first choice. sell romero. have De Gea as the back up and for the player to teach Henderson. if Henderson has a wobble whilst hes learning De Gea can retake the reigns. would keep the pressure off Henderson while hes beddin in.
