He clearly does. Or are we going to completely ignore him getting Spurs to the Champion’s League final? And coming second on 86 points in the league. With Spurs of all teams.
So being a runner up twice is a good thing?
I mean we are currently a long way off 2nd place and even further away from being in a champions league final.

I’m a bit torn on the Poch thing. On the one hand, he is a better manager than Ole, however I’ve always been of the mindset that it doesn’t matter who is in charge whilst we are under this ownership.

I know Ole got slighted for his comments about us needing 5 games before getting up to speed but notably Pep had the audacity to suggest he only has 13 “fit” players. Our starting 11 is top 4 quality and I think we will improve but ole will need to improve his in game management since it’s been horrible so far.

Pochettino is a better manager than Ole, I can’t really understand how this is being argued. I would ask: “Is pochettino the best attainable manager to replace Ole when we inevitably sack him?” not sure if the answer is “yes.”
We won and that’s great but we were absolutely outplayed by Brighton, a week after we were absolutely outplayed by Crystal Palace, at home. You can blame fitness all you want but the system is nonexistent. At this stage questions about a lack of clear style of play must be asked of Ole.

Not my point. Paul said Poch didn’t have a better CV than Ole. Which is clearly untrue.

Something else to bear in mind-
There’s a very real possibility that no decent manager is going to touch Utd with the current set up. The football world is a small one and Van Gaal, Moyes and Jose have all more or less said they were shafted by Woodward.

best signing of the summer would be poch in and ole DOF. Our best 11 should be doing a lot better, it's not a lack of pre season 🤦♂️ because Poch has a much better CV than Ole. Guaranteed whoever takes over from Ole will be in the same position and get the same treatment from people here. Dont get the hype with Poch. Hes won nothing as a manager and hes been at the top level for much longer. I fail to see how he's any better of an option. it's not about the CV, it's the simple fact he is a better coach Brighton outplayed us because they have better coaching, better tactics.

just on Pogba, the guy is not good in a double pivot, before people say he is for France, let's be honest Kante does the work of 2 people and his energy levels are beyond anything Matic has dreamt of. Scott has the energy and imo a massive chance but he prefers getting up the pitch and trying to gets goals, someone needs to tell him to stop, think and see the opportunity.
no one wants pogba so we are stuck with him, a proper coach makes the most of the situation and finds a system to accommodate what he has

DDG yes but for chelsea and same with AWB maybe.

What can we offer a top manager? You’ll inherit a squad with glaring deficiencies in defence and attack. A board with a proved track record of refusing to improve the squad or bring in the players you will want, supporting players with marketability over you and sacking you whilst throwing you under the bus when things go wrong. The players you’ll be left trying to ‘coach up’ are vastly overpaid and have a history of disappearing or downing tools after being spoken to sternly. You will become the target of abuse and vitriol from a support base taking its angst and frustrations with the ownership out on you. Why put yourself through that?

It is, that’s how we finished top 4 to begin with. We produced some quality performances last year and these two games are not indicative of how we’re capable of playing. The lack of a true pre-season is hurting us and I expect an improvement.

There were strong rumours we approached Zidane who after putting out feelers, particularly about control over transfers, told us politely no thanks.
