Judge pogba fairly on consistency, he lacks that. Tactical positional awareness, he lacks that. The mentality of a big game player, he lacks that. The desire to make the most of the clear talent he possesses, he lacks that. Jose made excuses for him and then realised he was wasting time Ole is doing the same! I would love for it all to work as there is a player there but the acquisition on Bruno was a clear indication we wanted to move away from the player, unfortunately COVID 19 hit and the player is going nowhere. He could very well be throwing him to the wolves and allow him to let everyone down, then he can say just look at his performances. Jose did the same thing, praised him, made him captain, gave him a run and when he failed to perform he was benched. |

I think the big clubs have coped on with Pogba and I dont see him being signed by the big Spanish clubs. His agent hasnt helped his profile and Perez is not a fan if press reports are to believed. Like you, theres something there but where do you play him? Hes got real athletic ability but rarely uses it, he literally strolls round the park, so playing him centrally is a non starter. Doesnt matter how good you are, you have to work hard to prosper in any team. We bought Bruno cus we needed a link between midfield and forwards, so hes not going to occupy that role either. Even when Bruno has been below power, he works for the team. They couldnt be more different. Hes an enigma in my opinion and is effectively coasting at Utd. Hes got a WC winners medal and plenty of medals, maybe hes just not hungry enough to be the player we need anymore. Either we give him more stupid money or he goes back to Juve imo. Id rather play McTominay over Pogba because hes truly committed to the club. |

Hes in the same bracket Eden Hazard. Potentially world class ability, rarely shows it.
Watching him yesterday aswell I'm fed up of seeing him wimp out of aerial battles. If there's a ball to be won he just stands there. Fucking waster.

I mean in terms of the level they should have reached. As good as Hazard was he never really reached the consistent level for Chelsea either, he'd have a few games where he was world class then go missing. |
