Ole does not have a plan B he sends them out and if its not going right he`s stumped, as for Jagielka having an amazing performance thats bollocks we made him look good. Still fuming. Not hard to make any Centre half look like Baresi when up against Martial, he doesn't make the game uncomfortable for anyone he comes up against, utter waste of space. |

I was livid after that last night. I’d honestly stopped being bothered about defeats so it pissed me off that I’d allowed myself to hope for better again.
Thought everyone on the pitch was poor for us and looked like they couldn’t be arsed. Their second goal is as bad a goal as we’ve ever conceded.
Matic and Pogba doesn’t work as a sitting two. We’ve seen that it doesn’t work. Didn’t Fred get a rest against Liverpool? He only played half an hour or so didn’t he? So why isn’t he starting this game? Substitutions came too late and were poor when they came as well. The result is on Ole and the players here.
We could’ve got away with it but for a shocking display of refereeing. After all those narrow wins of late against Wolves, Burnley, Fulham etc, this was probably coming.
No bother anyway, we’ll just have to bounce back against a resurgent Arsenal side at the weekend who will be absolutely desperate to beat us.

Something to take a look at in that clip (aside from the brilliant work rate of Bruno vs the lazy attitude of Martial) is how bad the defending is from Maguire. If Bruno doesn’t chase that back, Maguire just ushers the lad through on goal. |

I know this won't be popular with some and people will jump to his defence but Rashford isn't at it either and barely has been all season and his work rate is slowly starting to match that of Martial, that point last night where he just stopped tracking McGoldrick was a typical instance, McGoldrick then nearly bent it in the top corner with the outside of his boot by the way. In other instances i see him stand there flapping his arms about in frustration if something hasn't come off or he thinks he's been fouled. His enthusiasm and work rate for the team when he first came one the scene was infectious, you could see how much it meant to him, it was Rooney-esque. He's lost that side of it in my opinion.

The only comparison between him and Martial is that they both better playing LW. Also look at Rashford on Sunday and talk about work rate and desire. He tore TAA to pieces. I’m not saying he wasn’t crap last night but the work rate thing needs to stop. Unless you find statistical proof, which you won’t. |

I know there were about 50 individual mistakes for their second goal but why is Maguire playing it back to DDG to start the calamity? Put it out for a corner. Dave could only hoof it as Maguire was about 2 feet away with an attacker beside him. Schoolboy stuff. |

I don't think he's doing enough Stew on a consistent basis simple as that and just cos he's come through at United doesn't mean he should escape criticism, Stats can be misleading, i prefer to judge with my own eyes. He didn't just lose his man by switching off, he was chasing him back and then just stopped and let him go. Anyway, you don't agree that's fine, i knew not many would. |

The lack of concentration and commitment is a real fucking issue. Positioning is an absolute mess and the lack of communication is pathetic. Another reason Maguire should not be captain. He should be commanding that back line and leading from example, he has no leadership skills whatsoever. It just fell into his lap which isnt a good enough reason to have it.

That clip earlier of Bruno chasing back and Maguire ushering the guy through, that perfectly illustrates the difference between the two. Bruno can’t fucking stand to lose. That’s what a captain is all about. Unfortunately he’s a skinny little lad from Portugal and not a big lump from Yorkshire. |

Was just reading about what he and Martial (and probably others) have been receiving. Absolutely unacceptable, disgraceful. Every one of those 'fans' should be found and banned for life from going to Old Trafford (though many have probably never even thought of going anyway). And then they should face criminal charges. It was the reaction of a nine year old in the third team at their primary school who got put up to the first team for a game because two kids were sick and one had to retake a Geography test. Gets the ball, knows there's an attacker nearby so panics and just passes it to someone else like a hot potato to kick away. |
