Saw this on MEN earlier. This measures a players pressing. Won’t be a shock but the 34 year old Cavani is pressing far more than a player in Martial almost 10 years his junior. Which is disgraceful. ‘Cavani has an average of 15 pressures per 90 minutes this season, with 8.5 coming inside the attacking third. Martial has managed just 8.98 on average, with only 5.86 coming in the final third.’ It's all about output, It's what you do when the team has the ball and how many goals you get as a central striker. Martial is not a striker, he's not even close based on this seasons evidence. I agree with Bestie, he has a confidence problem and should be taken out of the side for a sustained period of time. Just playing him every week and him continuing to serve up shit doesn't go unnoticed among his fellow players, that not only erodes Martials confidence but the squad as a whole. Cavani at 34 needs to be managed but he should have a sustained run in the team at Martial's expense. Continuing in this vain is poor management.

I've usually calmed down by now but im still livid, its giving us hope and then snatching it away and saying,, nah we are really shit after all. Fucking soul destroying, cowards every one of them. Do we still have the biggest wage bill in the prem by the way thats just as shocking.
Every city player in the squad works his arse off win lose or draw. We can say that about most of this squad.
Arsenal will spank us at weekend and calls for ole's head will resurface

Imagine being the kind of smooth brain that after a loss there first thought is to blame someones race mind boggling It’s just absolutely horrible and completely uncalled for, sadly,I’m old enough to remember the dreadful abuse levelled at Clyde Best in particular, when he played for West Ham. Apart from the usual disgusting crowd noises,Bananas would regularly be thrown at him if he was near the touch line. Here’s hoping they’re rooted out and prosecuted ,it does my bloody head in.

Must admit I didnt notice this at first. He was off all night and although I'm not defending the lad he shouldn't have started anyway after pulling up a few days earlier. He didn't look comfortable at all last night.

The problem with the likes of Rashford is that he's got so little competition, it doesn't matter how shit he plays or erratic he continues to be, he's pretty much guaranteed to start every week. Whilst we continue to have a severe lack of real top-level quality in them positions, we'll be stuck with being reliant on both him and Martial, when in reality, both could and should have been taken out of the team on multiple occasions this season to rest and recapture form.

I think we can all agree Diablo Rouge is banned from starting match day threads for the foreseeable, and has to go sit in the naughty corner for a while.

So it seems that Ole said this...
‘The momentum shifted for us with the Sheffield United game and I’ve got the delegates’ report through from the ref and the decisions were wrong: they’ve admitted their goal should have been disallowed and ours should have stood. So that’s a big, big momentum changer for us … that’s fine margins and that’s been the way this season.’
Three things...
Agreed that if the decisions had gone the way described above we probably would have won...maybe...
We should have had enough about us to win the game anyway...
What's the 'delegates' report'?

So what`s the point of VAR if this is true? VAR was supposed to make sure the officials got the decisions right on field.

The delegates report is something a manager struggling with his credibility thinks he can use as a viable excuse for not winning two games when the pressure is on.
