When we've conceded two or more in a game this season almost everytime we've gifted at least one of the goals by sheer incompetence. The lack of concentration and commitment is a real fucking issue. Positioning is an absolute mess and the lack of communication is pathetic. Another reason Maguire should not be captain. He should be commanding that back line and leading from example, he has no leadership skills whatsoever. It just fell into his lap which isnt a good enough reason to have it. We have two dosey pricks in our defense and a flimsy goalkeeper. Its not possible to win a league with those players. This problem is cumulative because Ole doesnt trust them and he wants two holding players which causes its own problems because we cant dictate tempo further up the pitch. Our defense cost us last night and unless we sign quality in that position we are going nowhere. That second goal made my piss boil. How can they standoff them like that. Im not convinced its coaching, Maguire and Lindelof are mediocre at best. You need leaders in every unit on the pitch especially in midfield and at the back. |

Still absolutely fuming from last night to go and get beat of the worst team in the league, it was great to think we had a title challenge, but we all know we're this goes now, drop points in our next few games, city will steam roll this league now. I still stick with we should of sacked him after getting knocked out of the champs league.
Last night was odd aswell the subs, the tactics playing pretty much 2 DCM against bottom of the league, the worst thing was how bad those players looked win and they go back to the top and they didn't look interested 1 bit, also ddg was fucking wank for that first goal always been soft as shit in those positions.

Disgusted by the loss but even more disgusting is the racial abuse Axel and Martial have been receiving on social media. There are so many other expletives to use to describe Martial’s performance besides hitting the lows of all lows and going to race. I fucking hate social media and the platform it gives to the scum of society.

I think most peoples on here love Ole for his achievements at the club, and the way he “gets” it, although there’s the small question of managerial competence which supersede these.
Sadly Ole has been found out with regards to his lack of tactical knowledge, something I alluded to before the game last night, he’s winged it through most of this season, relying on Bruno and the strikers ,for the most part, to get us out of holes that we’ve obligingly dug ourselves.
We duly dug ourselves another last night , fell into it, and covered ourselves with soil.
It’s pretty clear that DDG is now completely unreliable and needs shifting.
McT, Harry,Victor really no better than squad players,Matic is pretty much done, AWB has what appears to be terminal stage fright/difficult second album syndrome, Fred continually blows hot and cold, and Martial is Martial, he needs a long break although I’d still be inclined to keep him.
Pogba, who the devil knows anymore? But I’d sell him anyway while I can get something for him, this “we’ll have a look” at the end of the season ,as he’s been saying,won’t wash.
All that said, a better manager may get a better tune out of them, for a while anyway, but I’ll bet that Ole will be kept on, after firmly nailing his colours to The Gimps’ mast, and as long as he wins a trophy, or qualifies for the Champions League he will be retained.

People need to cut the lad some slack. God help Diallo when he makes his debut with the state on a portion of our fanbase. The poor lad will be ripped to bits. |

I’d be fairly confident they would be a far more competent CB pairing than Maguire and Lindelof. Who cost 120 million. |

Saw this on MEN earlier. This measures a players pressing. Won’t be a shock but the 34 year old Cavani is pressing far more than a player in Martial almost 10 years his junior. Which is disgraceful.
‘Cavani has an average of 15 pressures per 90 minutes this season, with 8.5 coming inside the attacking third. Martial has managed just 8.98 on average, with only 5.86 coming in the final third.’
