We were shit anyway so shouldn't use two bad decisions as a crutch. However, it is yet another indictment of the dreadful VAR system.

That prick of a ref blew up too early rather than letting play out like every bloody ref in football does. Which meant VAR, useless as it is, couldn’t step in.
Pathetic. And as many have said, ever since that gurning twat Klopp had his little cry about us, we haven’t had a sniff of a decision.

So it seems that Ole said this... ‘The momentum shifted for us with the Sheffield United game and I’ve got the delegates’ report through from the ref and the decisions were wrong: they’ve admitted their goal should have been disallowed and ours should have stood. So that’s a big, big momentum changer for us … that’s fine margins and that’s been the way this season.’ Three things... Agreed that if the decisions had gone the way described above we probably would have won...maybe... We should have had enough about us to win the game anyway... What's the 'delegates' report'? Has the stench of excuse making that.

Having said that, Citeh only scraped past them... But importantly, the DID do the job...

The problem with the likes of Rashford is that he's got so little competition, it doesn't matter how shit he plays or erratic he continues to be, he's pretty much guaranteed to start every week. Whilst we continue to have a severe lack of real top-level quality in them positions, we'll be stuck with being reliant on both him and Martial, when in reality, both could and should have been taken out of the team on multiple occasions this season to rest and recapture form. The scousers won the league with zero competition for VVD, Salah, Mane and Firmino. If the players have the right mentality they don't need any extra motivation.

They are world-class players though and can be relied upon to perform week in week out, Rashford and Martial aren't and can't do that. You missed my point but basically, until we bring in world-class players for them positions, we'll be stuck with an inconsistent and erratic forward line.

Or even some highly competent competition for some places - Look at Shaw and Pogba's improvement since they've had to work a bit

Shaw's upturn in form to the player we all hoped he would be has cost an additional £55 mill over the next 4 1/2 seasons.
