How in the actual fuck does Pawson that gormless cunt blow the whistle there at the end of the half. Everton were allowed to play well past their additional time and scored as well. How do you fucking blow the whistle there. It was literally 3 seconds past 2 minutes. It's fucking minimum 2 minutes not maximum you prick. There's not a single ref in this cunting league who deserves his job. As I said yesterday when it happened we should genuinely be filing a complaint. We shouldn't have been letting him off the pitch. I couldn't watch the second half - did Ole say anything about it after the game?
not in the interview too-

Nothing will change until the board and owners go, if he gets top 4 he’s meeting the stated goals that allow them the brand exposure they want. You could get a top manager with higher expectations and it’ll all blow up like it did with Jose (regardless what you think of his tenure) once he realized he won’t be backed and their aspirations don’t match his, and he spoke out. This is the inconvenient truth that people are refusing to admit. Hand pick the manager (spoiler alert: they aren’t stupid enough to take this poisoned chalice). Martial is still a waste of space. Rashford is still inconsistent. McFred aren’t good enough to shield by themselves and offer very little going forward. AWB still can’t cross. Lindelof still can’t beat a paraplegic in the air. Maguire still can’t position himself properly and DdG still doesn’t command his box. Then you’ve got the Pogba situation to fix/appease bc Ed won’t let you sell him not to mention the lack of intestinal fortitude running through the side and their propensity for downing tools at the first sign of adversity. Ed/Joel won’t let you sell the big names, will reward the lesser ones with huge contracts and will undermine you in the transfer market. Hand pick the manager, and within 2 years we’re right back in this exact place.

Given that he’s over 2 years here now that might be a tad fanciful but you never know I suppose. B. Get a manager who has a track record of improving players at a club. There aren’t too many of those but surely one or two are in football currently.. C. Find someone who has a track record of doing wonders with youngsters and promote more of the current crop as they look some of the best we’ve had for some time. At the very least it might be interesting.

You can also take existing players and get the absolute max out of them. Are you really coming here to be Ed’s bitch? Because like you said, there’s not many of those types around and if one becomes available they’re gonna have options. B. Which of those issues are fixable with ‘proper coaching?’ C. By all accounts, we’ve potentially got quite the crop on its way in a few seasons. I’d be tempted to throw more of them into the first team, if our ‘fanbase’ weren’t going to go full 1939 on them.

That doesn’t mean we accept a sub standard manager as well.

For the long term benefit we need to drop out of the top 4. The brains trust will probably give him a contract extension otherwise. With Southgate busy at the Euros that might stop that horror scenario happening then Allegri is the only realistic option with Tuchel and Poch snapped up. Can’t believe there’s people here going into games wanting us to lose. Others going on about “Fergie would’ve never played that midfield” or “Fergie would’ve given x player a chance”. We used to all criticise Fergie’s team selections all the time here, difference is we usually won so the memory of it was short lived. The amount of times we were losing our shit over ancient Ryan Giggs starting a game instead of the latest hot young thing. Why do people think Fergie went all out attack every game? Hoping we drop out of the top four takes the cake for me. Pretty sure a large selection of Arsenal fans were saying the same thing to get rid of Wenger, and now look at them. They replaced Wenger with an inferior manager. We already have a low bar. Being afraid of the unknown isn’t an excuse for tolerating this.

Sorry but I just wanted to drag this back to the actual game for a moment...
I didn't get to watch it and have only just had a chance to see the goals (thanks Carbs...)...
I have three comments:
1. DDG could and should have come out and collected that cross for the first goal...
2. Lindelof is as soft as blancmange...
3. What a lovely goal by Bruno...

He has to think his defender will get to it. Lindelof would be in the way if he tried to claim it.

People won’t like this but Iv always thought DDG was over rated, he makes some excellent saves but his overall game lets him down, he’s poor on crosses, his distribution isn’t great and he relies on his feet too much which is odd, a mate of mine has done some goalkeeper coaching and doesn’t think he’s anything special, I’d like to see Henderson more I think he’s far better.
