Rashford 2 goals in the his last 10 Premier League games. And scored just 1 away PL goal in practically 3 months. And we have Martial, Weghorst, Antony and Sancho who have done even less than that. Over the course of the season only 2 players have scored more goals in Europe and still people can only focus on the negative (not aimed at this particular post btw). He's played a lot of football aswell this season which is currently and undoubtedly starting to take its toll. Having to share a front three with two of these wastes of space makes Rashford’s stats a football miracle

He's played a lot of football aswell this season which is currently and undoubtedly starting to take its toll. Having to share a front three with two of these wastes of space makes Rashford’s stats a football miracle It's something that's been ignored for far too long now and it needs to be our number one priority and addressed in the summer. We've been too over reliant on Rashford to get the goals because the rest just aren't good enough and as soon as he has a below par performance we seem to struggle to put anything in the net. We massively over spent on Antony aswell which made it impossible to get a proper attacker in the Jan window. That's not a dig at the player btw as he can't control his value, but had it been spent on a proper striker we could very well have been looking at challenging for the title. Hindsight is a wonderful thing I suppose. I haven't criticised Ten Hag this season as its his first season and he deserves time, he has a squad packed with players that aren't good enough, injuries to big players that have forced his hand to use shite instead. He also wasnt backed in the Jan transfer window. But continuing to use Weghorst isn't doing himself any favours. Actually pisses me off more than anything at the moment.

Mourinho knew Martial and Rashford were unreliable. That was 5 years ago. Would fucking love to see some stats on what percentage of your posts mention either Mourinho, Ronaldo or Ole.

Funny because I remember a lot of posts bashing the former whilst praising the latter. Mentioning no names though. I’ll spare them the embarrassment.

regardless of the past because that means absolutely dick for this season.....
We have Sancho, Antony, Bruno, Weghourst, Erikson, McFred, Martial, and Casemiro not picking up the slack when Rashford isn't on his day. That falls on all of them... this is a team sport and we cannot just sit there a hope Rashford pulls a magic rabbit out of his ass every match. Antony was brought on to be that other guy and he has 4 goals and 1 assit in 21 PL matches, then he goes out blows a gasket that should have gotten him a red...it's a fucking joke.

This happened with Ronaldo last season though. Sorry to bring him up again because it upsets some. We have too many luxury players. Last season Rashford was one of them. We win no league relying on any of them. It was obvious 5 years ago. I won’t mention names because that’s also a sore point. I’d sell the invisible man this summer too if it was down to me. Biggest waste of money since Maguire happened.

The guy has carried us for months, scored 29 goals mostly from the wing (including one in a cup final), couldn’t get a rest because the players brought on in his stead couldn’t hit a barn door, predictably got an injury and hasn’t been able to hit the form he had before he got INJURED and your take is- Jose was right. Knew he couldn’t rely on him. If he’d gotten the loan move that you’d hilariously suggested we’d be 9th and potless yet again. But yeah, Jose knew his stuff about him alright. Jesus wept.

May not be accurate as it’s from twitter, but we’ve supposedly missed 83% of our ‘big chances’ this season. Makes you wonder how we’ve done as well as we have if it is. Even after Rashford’s purple patch, I still don’t have full confidence/expectation that any of our forwards will finish off a chance. Can we stop with with this purple patch shit ffs, its completely unnecessary after the season he's had. He's allowed to have quiet games. It's others around him that need to step up when this happens and they're not. He's been one our best players this season and wouldnt be in the position we're in without him. People need to stop waiting for him to have a poor game just so they can go back to twisting the knife again. It was a purple patch though? In his first 14 games he scored 4 goals, in his next 10 (his purple patch) he scored 10, and then since that, he’s scored 2 in 8. I’m not dissing him with that comment either. He’s improved this season, but for him to be really classed as an elite player, he needs more consistency. That may come next season with better players around him but for now, he’s still hit and miss in front of goal.

When he was scoring it didn't matter but when he doesn't get goals more often than not Rashford is a detriment.

While Ronaldo carried us last season. The Rashford conundrum is similar to the De Gea one. They’re not the main problem but they are an issue. Pointing that out in these parts is sacrilegious though.

That first summer of transfers was brutal. Lucky Leeds took James for a fair price.

Except Rashford’s carrying has resulted in us winning a trophy and currently in the Champions League places. Do you have anything else?
