While Ronaldo carried us last season. The Rashford conundrum is similar to the De Gea one. They’re not the main problem but they are an issue. Pointing that out in these parts is sacrilegious though. Except Rashford’s carrying has resulted in us winning a trophy and currently in the Champions League places. Do you have anything else? 'Currently' being the operative word. And top four isn't an achievement. |

By our standards top 4 should never be an achievement. However we all have to be realistic, top 4 was always the aim this season. This squad doesn't have the right quality or even the right mentality for anything more than that right now. Anyone that expected any more from this squad is delusional. It's simple. Without Rashfords contributions (I don't care if it was before or after the world cup) we simply aren't reaching the aims we set out for at the start of the season. He's been one of the best players in the league and deserve credit for putting himself in that position after the last few seasons. |

It isn't based on a few games. The 'He's definitely world class now' run is looking like the few games. I am basing saying he needs shipped out on the last eight years of mostly mediocrity with flashes of quality. If it had been Martial scoring 10 in 10 and basically nothing else all season absolutely nobody would be saying he is beyond question. |
