The successive rebuilds don’t work because we buy expensive young flops (Pogba, Sancho, Antony ), and short term fixes with limited shelf life (zlatan, matic, Casemiro, varane, Eriksen). We should be buying young modestly priced and hungry and getting Erik to use his coaching ability to develop these kind of players into stars. It’s not easy because we get ripped off for young talent but it is the only way to go absent qatari billions. Excellent plan for a properly run club (e.g. Brighton). By that, I mean a club which isn't run according to the mood on social media. Managers here have 2 seasons max before the club caves in to e-pressure and gives them the sack. Can't really blame them for putting whatever money they have on the quick fix. |

For anyone like myself who ain't seen any of the game yet... First time I’ve seen their third goal. I honestly couldn’t give a shit how good Onana supposedly is with his feet if he’s gonna let goals like that in. Dave would’ve saved and held on to that! I was behind that goal yesterday and at the time I thought he should really be saving that. he doesn’t look agile enough for me(he’s a bit bulky)/to get down to those bottom and top corner shots. Time will tell. |

The team look like they lack stamina and mental strength, looked good for 20 mins then faded it happens a lot. They're not fit enough, whoever is working with the players physically is obviously garbage. |

Yes I agree on Onana. Everyone will point out when he makes an above average save now because they know how many dozens of games De Gea absolutely rescued and salvaged points for us.
Sick of all the transformational signing crap. No one signing will transform this dumpster fire.

I watched a bit of Celtic last season. I was a bit sceptical of an Aussie coach but I was impressed with the type of football they played; it was better than the calibre of player they had, if that makes sense. In a matter of months, Ange has been able to implement his tactics and style at Spurs, or least be well on the way to. Now, when you hear about Ten Hag, it sounds like he took a few months in Ajax to get them playing his way (there were rumours he’d be fired at one point I recall but they turned it around.) and by seasons end had a distinctive style. So why do we think he’s been unable to do that at Utd? This guy was on the shortlist of both Bayern and City because he’s a brilliant manager and I did say that if he can’t turn Utd around, no one can. It looks sadly like ‘no one’ is going to be the winner here. Openly said recently that he has played different systems in all of the clubs he has managed,however how many signed up to what we are currently seeing are probably very few & far between. The money & contract is obviously the overriding factor because he seems happy to go down the same deep Glazer hole as OGS without a word out of place . |

We made a 50m pound mistake because we thought we could save a few Bob by squeezing DeGea and he left. The stupidity is incredible. |

On the ETH reputation for being a strict disciplinarian yes he sorted the Ronaldo thing and has just binned Sancho but where is it on the pitch?
Where’s the high press? It’s just not there, now and then I watch a player for a while even when off the ball Rashford is a prime example, he doesn’t close down, Martial? You are having a laugh, the midfield don’t join in either so where is Ten Hag in all this? you don’t see him demanding enough from the touch line for me, It’s just not happening.

Massive red flags all around in the game , the biggest one a lack of effort. Have these cunts given up on the manager already ?
Its interesting that the players who looked best -Hojlund and Hannibal Mejbri are the new ones who didnt spend much time with our group.
Same thing with Martinez who was on fire last season and now look out of sort.

I’m not calling for ETH’s head but singing mount and Onana to strengthen two positions in the team where we are actually ok had me having my first doubts about him. It’s fine to do that if you have a squad like city but we still have unaddressed massive holes in ours. to me it’s like having 2 flat tyres and 2 tyres with slow punctures on your car you then go into ATS and spend all your budget replacing the slow punctured tyres. |
