I don't know if Amad is good enough or not, maybe he is, maybe he isnt. But he absolutely should be getting enough game time to prove it. With the players we have out atm its the perfect time aswell. Definitely deserves to be coming on before dross like Antony. ETH has given young players a chance. Sure Amad went to Rangers and stunk the place out. Where's this "he deserves a chance" coming from? As Stew said, he did really well at Sunderland. Soem of his goals were incredible, in any league. More generally, Amad's an interesting one. I believe we were interested initially as he showed a lot of potential but was acknowledged to be raw. Obviously the idiots trust at United then decided that warranted going in big to snap him up, so we definitely overpaid and had our pants pulled down by Atalanta - but IMHO it would be good to give him a chance to develop that potential and game time is a good way to see, esp considering our other options aren't great? He can't be worse than Antony...

He also got 3 goals in 13 games at Rangers, stats Antony has wetdreams over.

Why doesnt he? He "stunk" at Rangers but was one of Sunderlands best players last season in a very competitive league contributing to 17 goals. When you see dross like Antony starting or coming off the bench then yes I do think he deserves a chance. He deserves as much of a chance as Forson, who is starting to get them. Ten Hag may very well give him some game time in the near future, I'm just surprised he hasn't been given more opportunities yet.

I agree he should be given a run instead of the one legged waste of space Antony but I also agree that he doesn’t give the vibes to make you think he’s ever going to be a top player.

This is it, he may very not become a top player. We've seen a lot of promising youngsters like it. But you don't know what a player can do if he's not on the pitch to show it. Time will tell I'm sure.

Maybe I'm being harsh but I've heard this alot about a load of shite in the past. There's a world of difference between the championship and the prem. The only player I ever felt deserved more of a shake at utd was Giuseppe Rossi 😁

Mainoo I’m optimistic about but let’s face it if I had a pound for every other player from the academy that’s been raved about since LVG started chucking a few in I’d be on holiday now instead of writing this. The fact is the majority don’t make it or as we’ve seen they plateau after the hype. Not just at Manchester United btw.

Forson ain’t good enough Antony is way off it Hmmm why don’t we give Amad a game, it’s not that hard.
No one is saying he is the saviour or anything, all we want is to see him get a chance considering what he did last year. You can’t judge someone when you haven’t even seen them play

Unfortunately for ETH he will be remembered more for wasting 90 on a championship level player than anything else he ever did during his time here.

You can’t judge someone when you haven’t even seen them play Think it's too early to completely write Forson off. But think he could definitely benefit from a season on loan somewhere. We need to cut our losses with Antony though. Take the financial hit and get rid because he's never going to be good enough.

Just saw a video of a couple of things Antony did whilst at Ajax and even then I'm not convinced...
It's the Eredivisie not the Prem and he doesn't get the time and space that he had there...
So one footed it's scary and if the coaches don't work on his right foot in training they need immediate sacking...
