or, carry the ball as far as you can and actually draw a foul in a decent position. If we're claiming enough contact for that to be a foul, more would be coming. Yeah that’s fair, but for me you’re not carrying the ball much further than that because Walker is the fastest man alive. I also don’t think he’s really in a position to carry it much further as Walker has his arm across him so would’ve got his body across. You learn how to protect the ball as a kid, he should have run across Walker as soon as he got the ball, that way Walker had to foul him to get the ball. Rashford just lay down because he's Marcus Rashford. This is how it's done.

Those who peddle this injuries excuse need to learn that this injury thing is not luck. Season after season mancity have a fully fit squad for the last part of the season...it is not chance guys. Their style of play is sustainable. The style of play is a huge factor in this. Every time you see mancity playing 600 or 700 passes, it is not just a cool stat. It is a stat showing how much more they get the ball to run for them vs players running for the ball. Our players dont even have a deep understanding about why we pass the ball vs running with it. Against mancity we hit around 200 passes and they hit 700...imagine how much running our players did..will you be surprised if we suddenly get 3 more injuries this week. Our style of play which is direct, transitional and end to end means that players run much much more. More running means more injuries. This is why you see some fans emphasizing the need to control games...you can not attack every time you have the ball. Great teams treasure the ball...they will recycle the ball with the GK over and over again inorder to bait the press. Pressing is them running more. It shocks me that we have a keeper who is fantastic with the feet but we keep going direct even when there is no space behind or run in behind. At some point you guys have to accept that ten hag is coaching this chaos survival football on purpose during the week. If we struggle with this number of injuries when playing once a week, imagine how many more we will have if we play twice a week. Alot of truth in this but I'd argue that its where you start pressing from that dictates how far you run in a game. If we pressed 10 yard further up the field, then it's going to be easier physically. Did we put any pressure on city yesterday the way they put us under pressure when we had it?

Ten hag is absolutely delusional. That mentality is unfit to lead a dressing room and Ratcliffe has to start there if he wants to enact real change.

He is the only defender who can receive the ball under pressure and pass effectively.

Which begs the question why we didn’t buy another similar defender instead of bringing in a 37 year old on a free. Especially when you consider we can’t rely on Varane every game. So much poor management last summer.

If I am Amad I would be looking for another club… C’mon , let’s be honest he’s not good enough either. Our fans must be the worst when it comes to overestimating the worth of our players. That money could have been better spent elsewhere.

Linked with Tuchel today to replace ETH. Fucking hell. Someone who has somehow failed at Bayern.
I'm not bothered about Erik staying or not. It's who we replace him with and the list is fucking shite. It's going to be even worse since Barca and Liverpool are looking for new managers. We are so fucked whoever comes in.

I would definitely like to see him over that 1 trick pony.

He did win the CL with Chelsea though and he's a hard ass which seems appropriate right now with these players. Tuchel is one of those managers, when he gets it right, his teams can be formidable. Personally, I'd go to Brighton and get De Zebri. He's young, tactically very good and he improves players and we might just have the right people who can get the players we need for a change. We don't need a big name, people are talking about Jose and Tuchel but there's zero guarantees in football. Let's try something different.

Id personaly go for naglesman providing we sort the backroom out first, but then we need to be shifting the likes of Bruno rashford Scott AWB ect, a new manager with new ideas can't be working with these players, build around garnacho rasmus and mainoo, the rest can go.

Tuchel leaves a trail of destruction in his wake. He’s Jose with slightly more attractive football.
