Well I didn’t do too badly with the Summer one so maybe we’ll do something decent…

Probably we need a Summer 2025 transfer window. We have a bit of room for manoeuvre as we didn't overspend this summer the way we usually do. But realistically we will be doing most of our business in the summer.
Good news is that the exit of Sancho does mean we will be able to sign a winger. Eze has been mentioned with a rumoured buyout clause of £68m. But there are some other good options out there.
Left back clearly has to be signed either January or the summer.
Osimhen situation should be monitored.
And with Eriksen and Casemiro likely to leave in the summer and Scotty already gone we should be looking at signing another midfielder. Perhaps Zubimendi.

Gonna be another window of sales. Eriksen if they can get a penny and Lindelof will be prime candidates. If they get any takers for Case then you expect he willl be out and another mid will come in. Last but not least LB will be a position to keep an eye out on if shaw and Malacia show no signs of consistently staying fit

A striker, a midfielder and more sales.

Selling Eriksen and Lindelof have to be the biggest priority, so they don't leave for free. Getting a midfielder or 2 in will be another big focus and if we can get underperforming players/youth out on short loan.

I just can’t see Lindelof and eriksen leaving they’ll ride their contracts out. They’ll get better offers in the summer.
Angel gomes is free to talk to clubs in January as he’s free agent next summer. He should be a no brainer on a free. We need ball players and he can play. Not the best defensively but against deep lying sides him and mainoo would be fantastic the way the both the ball. A good eriksen replacement

Don’t think I’d play him alongside Mainoo though, it’d be the smallest midfield ever deployed.

We are going to have to take the hit on players like Lindelof and Eriksen and probably Casemiro too. At least we will eventually get them off our wage bill which will improve our finances.
We have about £25m coming in next summer from the Sancho obligation to buy. But hard to really see us getting anywhere near the £100m+ we raised this summer. Aside from the 3 aforementioned players Antony will be difficult to shift. We really should be thinking about selling Rashford and Mount. But we probably won't. And there are probably a few fringe players we might be able to sell for a few quid. So probably our budget for next season is £150m at the absolute maximum and more likely £120-£130m. And that does not go very far.
And I think the priorities are: 1) A ball playing midfielder (hopefully Collyer will be able to step up and provide adequate cover for Ugarte) 2) A left back (I don't trust either Shaw or Malacia to stay fit) 3) A winger (Sancho is gone, Antony should be going, and that leaves us a little light)
Obviously we are light upfront. And if there is any possible way we can buy Osimhen for a cut price we should be all over it.
But realistically you can't get a top quality striker for much less than £100m and our budget doesn't allow for that so we are probably better off improving the rest of the team so other players can chip in goals and the likes of Hojlund and Zirzkee get much better service. And then summer 2026 we might be able to go all out for the best striker our money can buy.

Midfield would have a good balance of players in there then. - mainoo Ugarte bruno / Gomes Rabiot kone & collyer Hopefully get 50m between Mount and Antony. Is Maguire in his last year of his contract next summer ? Can really see rashford leaving too and by then garnacho should have nailed down LW

My guess is that one way or another the following players won’t be playing for by the end of next summer:
Casemiro Lindelof Eriksen Evans
Possibly also:
Maguire Anthony Rashford
From the “certain” pot + Sancho money, we’re definitely looking at very marginal incoming cash. So I am assuming we'll have about 150-200mil to spend at most.
Looking at our squad, we’re missing: Reliable LB Another CM A top winger A reliable 25 goals a season striker
Can’t see us getting both a top striker and a top winger, so I guess a lot will be decided based on how well Hojlund, Garnacho, and Amad develop this season.

Doubt we do any business unless we're in a dire state with injuries. Let's see.

Why are we not looking at ait-nouri. He’s not very good. Always looks eye catching on tv, but otherwise is very very bad at being left back

Still think we missed a trick not going in for Osimhen on loan. A game changer that now plays in Turkey. Such a waste.
