hey guys i hope u all back ronaldo today cos hes still a united player. Dont get me wrong, i have been really upset over all this shit that has gone on, but im more concerned by the negative comments of the press and so called united fans. i hear many people slagging of ronaldo on these message boards, but im just worried aout loosing him. we simply cant afford to. im pissed at ronaldo for even hintin at a madrid move, but why are many of u so pissed about his involvement in the england game. i was angry with him for screwin a team mate but since then i ve heard wat he and rooney both said and i do 100% believe that ron was simply callin for a foul or yellow, not a red. Plus why should many" die hard" united fans be fussed about england. united is the most important thing, and while playin for international clubs our players are oppenents and therefore they are competeting againds eachother and shit happends.Forget it! move on! united need ronaldo and i pity those who call for his head cos of sum trivial shit. we dont wanna drive him away, we want and need him to stay. Forget england..LOVE united! Ron him self said he wants to come bk so srew these bindipping tabloid scum who just wanna sell papers. support ronnie, cos the lack of such is what will make him go. I hope he doesnt . so come on give the boy a break. im 18 and everyone makes mistakes..beckham anyone?...I know the true fans will back ron, but screw all u fakes.

What happens on the International field stays on the International field and as far as I am concerned, the matter is over with. We’re in need of players to build a future squad, a squad that can compete with Chelsea, getting rid of our best players isn’t the cleverest idea in the world.

Funny isnt it that you get people, i wont call them fans, saying ronaldos not good enough for us and we can do better but real madrid think hes good enough for them, ronaldo has shown tonight (france game) that he is very close to being a top top player, he isnt fazed by anything, as a winger he scores over 10 a season and is part of a forward line that was joint top scorers last season, that was playing in front of the worst midfield utd have had for years, think, if fergie ever gets the midfield sorted what he and the other forwards will do to the opposition . As regards that comment about him not tracking back why would you want him doing this, thats not his job, he is an entertainer and one of the main reasons i tip up my money every season, lets be honest apart from ronaldo and rooney who else lights the place up, fergie has placed to much responsibility on these 2 young lads still learning the game and this is what has led to fans criticism of them. I for one dont blame ronaldo if he decides to up sticks, the club havent matched ours never mind the players ambitions, and if we end up with the likes of carrick and cahill and some of the other shit mentioned on here can you really blame him, rooney will not be far behind him believe me. Saying that though if he does stop we will have some fun winding the english scum up chanting argentina and now portugal. I am english by the way but have fuck all to do with that shite team, utd for me and that is all.

Well said, Tom.
Except for that England comment. I'm English and even if the team played like Scotland (which is pretty shit ;D ) I'd still follow them and support them. But, when it comes to deciding between England and United it will be United 101 times out of 100. That is why I stuck by Ronaldo when many betrayed him, and that's why those who betrayed him should never be allowed to wear the badge we cherish!

I support every player that wears the United badge, but I don't confuse criticism with lack of support. I was surprised that a lot of people think we should get rid of Ronaldo because had he tackled Rooney severely with the sole intention of injuring him then sure, that's I could understand it upsetting people to that point. I didn't agree with what he did, but he's our player and while he's here he'll have my support.

He is still a united player and I'll always cheer him on if he's in the red shirt, but come on, if Real offer 25 mill+ you'd have to take it. He's just never really won the game for us against a big team, look at him against Milan away, he looked out of his depth. Admittedly, he looked good last night, but he's so inconsistant, I'd have Beckham any day!

I will always back a united player. However, Ronaldos and Portugals diving did him and their team no good whatsoever. It was in fact a disgrace and a black mark against him. Unfortunitly for united, we'll be hearing whistles and geering every time he touches the ball. This ( ala Beckham ) could be the making of him. Lets hope so....... Regarding Wayne Rooneys sending off, it should have never got that far. He was fouled against and the whistle should have gone before any stamping. Ronaldo's influence is debatable. Only the ref knows for sure. I bet Rooney gives him a good un on the trainning pitch and that will be that. Good luck to them both.

I think Ronaldo was a dick for what he done, I don't care if you think i'm not a true fan if I think so. Ronaldo nutted rooney then helped get him sent off and winked to the bench he also dived about to the point of being an absolute disgrace last night. I'll never boo any player in a Utd shirt but I am not happy with Ronaldo.

I'll never boo any player in a Utd shirt but I am not happy with Ronaldo. I didn't like his actions either and it had nothing to do with him being with United or not, but when he wears our badge he's our player and for the sake of the team I want him to do well. I always get a bit frustrated when I see a whole congregation of players around a ref as if a booking is some kind of democratic process...."shall we vote to give Mr. Kicksankles a yellow or red, or was it a foul at all...let's meet and discuss.".
