We need him in the team man utd is more important than england any way KEEP RONALDO "
I may also add that no player is ever bigger than Man Utd....think Robson, Cantona, Hughes....to name but a meagre few. Man Utd will survive the departure of one player who I admit, can dribble like a wizard but imo...cannot cross the ball so that our forwards can actually benefit from scoring a goal....I value Park more than Ronaldo......he links up with Rooney brilliantly. 25 Million for Ronlado?......yes please....where do we sign....

As we all have seen ronaldo might be on his was but i strongly think we cant let him go. We need him in the team for the future he is a class act. I really hope wayne n ron can sort it out for the sake of the title. We need him in the team man utd is more important than england any way KEEP RONALDO There's no doubt that we really can't afford to lose another midfielder now that we're trying to rebuild the midfield, but I don't think this is about him and Rooney this is about his wanting to make a change of leagues. If Fergie wants to keep him then I'm sure he'll work his magic somehow and try stalling Ronaldo's departure, though I think we all know his heart lies elsewhere and it's only a matter of time. I figure we can get a year or two of him at OT during which we find a replacement.

Agreed, he wont stay forever which is a shame but we will get enough time through next seaon to find a replacment, that Sahin guy looks great, perhaps buy him this year and let him work his way in the sell Ronny, make a great profit and have the ready made replacment already, it would give us 25 mill ish next season on top of our budget to sign players, so keeping ronaldo for now would be a great idea,
I really really dont want to see him go though, one of the few players who when they get the ball you get excited and never know what they might produce, plus i dont want him going to real, someone, just not them i foking hate Madrid

Can I invite you all to take of your United blinkers for a second, and realise this.
If Ronaldo played for any other club, for what he did throughout the World Cup, not just against England, but also against France, and even in the nothing game that was the 3rd/4th place play off, which was diving around, simulating he'd been run over by a MACK truck etc etc
YOU WOULD ALL BE JOINING THE CHORUS TO SHOOT THE LITTLE BAST**D
And don't tell me you would not, because that's a lie.

I don't think anyone denies the fact that he is a diver, because he is. But he's a kid who don't know better, and has improved since he joined United. The keyword being United. He playes for United, we support our own players. End of.

Your probably right, but if Lampard had done what he had, we would be praising him and he isnt a United player, im so sick of this WC bullshit, tbh I dont care, WC set aside, I like Ronaldo alot and want to keep him, I refuse to comment on the WC and am wiping what happened with him and Rooney from my head cos its boring me now and has no relevence on football so why cant everyone forget it, im not sticking up for Ronaldo nor am I slating him, he was doing what Portugal expected him to do.

Speaks sense, could agree with you more, Problem with United is we have too many supporters built from the days of 99, I admite, with my age, i became a United fan in the 90's but hey, its the time my age allowed me to appreciate fotball, not my fault, but whilst im United till i die, win, lose or fall on our faces, some, sadly, are not

missunited...
I've been a Man U fan since birth, which was 35 yrs ago, I support my team through thick and thin. But I will condone, and always will, the behaviour of players like Ronaldo, no matter what shirt he wears.
Rooney's action was also out of order, but he acted under pressure and provocation, the fact that he was fouled half a dozen times before he did what he did, no way excuses him but it does give reason, thats difference though.... Ronaldo falls to the floor without reason.

But wtf has that got to do with Ronaldo as a prospect for United, diving is a big problem but offloading him for that is ludicrous, the game is not the same as 35 years ago! Instead of booting him off, would it not make sense to mature him and mould him into a better player who doesnt do those things? So he is an all round better player?
Rather than Real doing it and having him terrorise OUR defence possibly, in the CL
No thank you

Ronaldo falls to the floor without reason. I don't condone diving, I actually think it's disgusting and It's very poor that it has become such a big part of the game today. HOWEVER, Ronaldo is a United player, who had no fault in Rooney's sending off. Had he not been in the frame of picture when Rooney did get sent off, I very much doubt people would have picked up on his behaviour over the tournament as much as they have done. Yes he falls to the ground easy, but not as easy as when he first joined United. It is up to the manager to teach the kid how to behave on and off the field. Just because you have one minor fault to your name, that does not mean you offload the player to someone who is bound to be your competition in Europe. That would be nothing short of stupid. Sir Alex hasn't given up on Ronaldo, therefore neither should we, or do you disagree with the greatest manager in English and Scottish footballing history. Oh.. and every time someone throws in their age like that, it just makes you seem like you think you know better because you've been a supporter for longer.

I completely disagree with this poster. If Ronaldo done what he done and England went through no one would have noticed it happened or commented on it. Its just sour grapes from the English press that is the problem. All he done wrong against England was point out that Rooney had stamped on one of his teammates and colleagues bollocks. Gerrard, Rio, Cole, in fact any other England player would have done the same thing. The other thing he done wrong was score the winning penalty and the English press hate him for it. If England went through all would have been forgotten, but they went out and rather than find an English scapegoat as thy have done in recent tournaments they found a foreign one that plays in England. Don't let the crap they write influence you. Ronaldo has not done much wrong this world cup. In fact he played brilliantly and showed why its important we keep him! ;D Can I invite you all to take of your United blinkers for a second, and realise this. rewdie You and Ronaldo have a lot in common Yes i admit it, im a secret talent with phenominal dribbling skills ima bit cocky at times but hey, im young ill learn, sometimes i go down too easily, but i was raised in leagues that do that so its inexcusable but im alot better with it now and I will continue to stamp it out of my game with good coaches coaching me. For the last time, im not saying that o Ronaldo dives who cares, just that to get rid of one of the most exciting footballers because of it is stupid, he will stop just god, give him support, no wonder he wants to leave

I know, does t actually matter whos supported the club longer? No its really doesnt, OK i havent supported them for 35 years but does that mean you love the club more than me? Or are a better judge of talent? In a revers, its the opposite, we are raised with todays game and todays talents, people who have watched alot longer still have the days of Busby babes etched into them and fotball jsut isnt like that anymore, im sorry, but it isnt
