I agree Benfica is the more important game. But we need 2 start our first eleven for this game VDS Gaz Rio Vid Evra Ron car scho giggs (if fit) Saha Wazza Its cruical that we take the 3 points really..Especially with Chelsea not playing this weekend. A good 6 point lead will really put the pressure on it could be a nine point lead by the next time chelsea play,we play saturday,then saturday week but there not playing till sunday week. |

I can't see Fergie playing Giggs nor Neville in this one... Rio seemed to have picked up a knock and Vida injured...i think its important we save the key players for the benfica game...but we have to get the 3 points here.. especially as they always cause us problems...i'd predict a hard fought 1-0 win..or maybe 2-1...

Because Newcastle played yesterday in the UEFA Cup, and it would be really harsh to make them play Chelsea with just 1 day off on Saturday. And they can't play it on Sunday as Chelsea plays in the Champions League on Tuesday. |

Boro at The Riverside is always a tough one, Terrible score in the last fixture there last season.
We managed to win 3-0 against Everton with a team without some of our stronger players, I think that will be a confidence boost, and with Chelsea not playing this weekend the players will wanna get that 6 point lead more than anything. I see a 2-1 win for us.

I hope that's how it works and it's not a case of us taking our eye off the ball because Chelsea aren't playing. We really need to make the most of this opportunity to put daylight between us and them even if they'll have games in hand and I hope we see the strongest eleven out there, or as close to it as possible. |

its crucial we play the same team as we di against chelsea, we are going to need our experienced and strong palyer in this one, thats why id include heinze i can see us pull through this but its certainly no easy game were going to have to fight to win this one!

Every game is a must win. Benfica shouldn't have been but it is now. I am glad that we play them at home this time as well. Hopefully remembering last years embarassment and the fans will push them to win this time around. |
