It's the way he's been playing all season, when he's been fit.
He clearly showed in the throughout the whole of last season, "I need to get back for Argentina" and Fergie helped him do that. Great, he goes to the World Cup half fit gets injured and then comes back to United sidelined.
I liked him as a player until last season/summer when I saw something about him, then when he gets back for United his play is sloppy, lacking the same desire he shows for Argentina and generally not good enough.
Fergie, field Evra next week and Mikky on the bench, let's see what Argentina can do for him then!
I love this club more than anything and I'd die for it's cause it pains me when I see players like him wearing the red of United, so you can continue to "dive" me as much as you want.

It's BS that he cares more for Argentina than United after all United has done for him.

Not sure some of our players have the temperament to play under pressure. We don't beat our biggest rivals and we struggle when the pressure is on in games. Still, one poor performance and a defeat doesn't end a season, but they are going to have to prove that they can deal with the pressure and come through.

How is it fair that people pick up on Heinze's loyalty to Argentina after one bad performance To me he didn't stand out as worse than any of the others, if anyone was absolute crap today it was Giggs, he wasn't much worse than the others though. Nev wasn't exactly sparkling either.

Mox, I agree there I don't think this signals the end of United's title hopes far from it. We're still in the driving seat, we need to brush ourselves off, be committed and get back to winning ways. Aston Villa away, Wigan, Reading both at home, Newcastle away then Aston Villa at home are all winnable games before we travel to the Emirates Stadium.

Bad result for us that. It was just one of those days. We dominated the game, but West Ham were good on the break. Thought Saha had a good game... but Rooney still looks off. Sky Sports were calling it "a disaster" for United, lol. Man of the Match? Robert Green.

Some overly harsh comments about Heinze. He's not playing well and if not for Evra being injured probably wouldn't be in the team right now. I see no reason why his commitment to the club should be questioned though. He has poor distribution with the ball, but then we've always known that, defensively though he's been reliable since his injury if not playing to the level he did in his debut season.

Nev wasn't exactly sparkling either. If you read one of my posts I've said it's not just this game it's been others this season. It's just got to the point where it's really eating away at me I hate to see people with no desire for United. Quite a few players had bad games and I picked them out earlier, but they've had great seasons bar this game. And, they've shown where their loyalty lies. Neville didn't have a bad game, he didn't have a brilliant one either. I don't have a problem with him being loyal to his country it's how his desire is for United, and in my opinion it's not good enough. There are thousands upon thousands who would die to wear that shirt and give their all. Normally, I'd write defeat off and get on with it but this defeat really hurts and I think it's that that has gotten at me the most. We'll bounce back though, I'd bet my life on that. I'll be there next week for Aston Villa..sitting with the great away support who again showed why we have the best fans today. "We'll never die, we'll never die..."

We are going back to the mentality that we think we can beat all the shitty teams with little effort...It has hurt us the past 4-5 years. Last year we lost points to Sunderland, M'Boro and previously to Norwich and Wolverhampton.
This year we have lost pts to Reading and West Ham.....
I dont understand why our mentality is this way. We need to come out of the tunnel with the desire to give 100% everygame whether we are playing Chelsea or West Ham.
I think that this game has lost us the title. Just 2 pts clear of chelsea who practically have a whole other XI on the bench. Our depth is non-existent.
However, i hope that United will now feel under pressure to perform better since chelsea are right behind us.
And our second half of the season doesnt look easy...@chelsea, @liverpool, @arsenal, @t'Ham. All these teams have excellent home record
It's just frustrating that we continuously put ourselves in this postition

got to agree with danishred i dont think we can go the next half of the season as good as the first half its harder on paper and chelsea have yet to hit top form.

I think we can, I'm not fazed by the task that lies ahead. No way, the players know we can beat anybody home or away and that's what probably hurt us today. We've got great records against the big teams and we'll come through this, yes we have to go to them places but those teams will also have to go to other hard places and will play each other.
Chelsea will drop more points as will United, it's who bounces back after defeats and dropped points that will win the title and our tradition, our history, our manager, players such as Van Der Sar, Neville, Giggs and Scholes (who have all been there and done it) will hopefully mean United come out of this in May, top of the pile and with our trophy back!

A hurting defeat - I had a feeling it would happen though.
Let's just pick ourselves up and get on with the next game and the next - come on Larrson! And I hope we pick someone else up in Jan.
We're still two points clear and it's all to play for.
Come on Utd

Leave Heinze alone, he's been injured a lot, he's been fighting back to fitness. Everyone has been giving Rooney so much slack it's ridiculuous, and Heinze doesn't get the same back because he loves his country? Newsflash, he is argentinian, not Mancunian, and that's a lot of players these days that love their countries more than their clubs. Rooney went to the World Cup and he could have wrecked his career doing it.
Our problem defensively today was that Rio had a couple of naps again, something he has avoided all season. Heinze had one hell of a save at one point. But our main problem laid offensively. We couldn't score, or midfield except for Ronaldo wasn't providing anything, Rooney had another horrible match.
Don't pick on Heinze because he's not as good going forward as Evra, because that's what it comes down to, Evra has had a blinding this season and so deserves his place on the team, but that does not mean it is Heinze's fault that we lost today.
This performance didn't lose us the title, but a couple of more like it will.

Well we've only got ourselves to blame, we put out our strongest team and they just failed to perform, there was real lack of quality today and a few players seemed more greedy and single minded than usual, perhaps looking for glory rather than getting the job done and then trying something different, Giggs and Rooney were awful and Rio made two big mistakes, one VDS saved him the other they scored from, but it's hard to find any player that couldn't have done better today.
I was absolutely livid after the final whistle and still am at the way we performed today because all our players knew West Ham would be well and truely up for it today and playing directly after seeing Chelsea win like they did they should have come out and demolished them but just looked complacent instead.
While the performance was awful I'm going to be positive and say that at the beginning of the season if we could have been 2 points clear of Chelsea at this stage I wouldn't have believed it so we're still doing fantastically well and need to use this game as a wake up call and make sure we don't make the same mistake again, and hopefully it will force the issue in jan where as if we had scraped through games like this we may have been tempted to make do with what we had when now it's obvious we need additions and soon.
