Lille's performance on and off the match is pathetic, their coaching staff telling their players to go off. Ban the fucking lot of them, that's fucking pathetic. Bunch of cunts.

Well that really wasn't impressive on Lille's part, very disapointed with there behaviour tonight shame the game turned out like that, what's the bet UEFA will do nothing about it?, they can't let the fans or the players behave like that it's unacceptable
Onto the game now: first have wasn't of the highest quality not many chances for either team really, the second half began well but we didn't look like we were going to over power them at get the goals we needed, there goal was correctly ruled out even though you may so this is a biased point of view but it's not, i thought Odemwingie caused us a few problems as he was given to much time on the ball, the defending didn't fill me with confidence, loved Giggs free kick good finish, but towards the end my mind couldn't have been further from the action, i was more concerned about our players and about our fans and i still am to be honest.

Well that was entertaining for all the wrong reasons! Nothing wrong with the freekick at all, i've seen Henry do that at least twice, Lille reacted shamefully. That plus the crowd problems at the start and the troubles at the end are going to mean Lille are gunna get punished. Platini has taken a hard stand against this kinda stuff, Lille are in big trouble,

I wanted Lille to leave so we could have gone in to Old Trafford with a 204 - 0 aggregate (as surely the game must go on) and Gary Neville could have scored.

Not that Platini has the final say, but he will have one hell of an influence on the final say, seeing as it's his home country, he has to be harsh towards that kind of behaviour.
That is not the sort of stuff you want to see, especially not in the champions league, absolute disgrace.
As for our performance, it looked like the players had absolutely no clue what they were up to, the pitch can be blamed for a certain amount, but not for bad control, bad passing, bad use of the ball and not getting into space.
Our lads who hadn't played in Europe before looked like they were naked and trying to cover up their parts or something for 90 minutes! All the one-on ones missed and i truly hoped Ronaldo learnt his lesson that he still has a lot to learn at United in terms of playing in Europe, he looked tonight like a fish out of water, in that the water was too deep..
It's a good job we have several champions league winners and finalists in the squad.
Neville seemed to persuade Lille to stay on the pitch as well, if they went off they were almost cerainly getting chucked out, he got our players involved as well so Fergie had every right to get him out of the way. #thumb#

Well, I almost had a heart attack during that game. Poor game but we couldn't expect any better on that pitch.
Thought the referee's decisions were good, although if we were in Lille's position we would have been pretty pissed off as well. Thats not to say I condone their behaviour, but I don't blame the players. They looked sort of reluctant to walk off, but If Queiroz told our players to come to him and walk off I''m sure some of them would do so reluctantly.
Anyway on the bright side we have a 1-0 advantage and an away goal. Don't think we'll concede at Old Trafford so it should be comfortable.
Ronaldo seemed pretty pissed off when he got subbed. I know he should accept it because its for the good of the team, but I hope incidents like these don't force him away from the club. Does anyone know if he celebrated the goal?

I agree Ronaldo was back to his infuriating best tonite!!!! Very frustrated by his performance tonite..., i think the pitch and how we were playing the high balls just didnt suit him tonite... and you could see he was frustrated with himself... But he needs to look at himself and adopt to these situations, if he wants to be considered among the best... Looked as tho he didnt wanna get his fuckin hair wrecked tonite.... As for Lille, fuckin disgrace! Their players attitudes stunk, fuckin stadium stunk, their staff stunk, was actually fearing for our players and fans come the end of the game... it seemed a really intimadating atmosphere.... I piss on their half assed preparations for the game... was really concerned by our fans at the start , i thought some were guna get crushed!

Does anyone know if he celebrated the goal? He seemed more annoyed with himself I think, can't imagine it's much to worry about.

If he plays piss poor, wasting possesion and not tracking back, he gets taken off ... simple as... hes not above the team.. play poor come off and he should no this!

Disgrace and a state to French football... mainly the fans and the coaching staff... The referee got everything right apart from being too card happy which showed he was consistent so a good thing in some respect.
Cant see Lille doing much better at OT imo.
