Apparently Silvestre is playing at left back and Evra is on the left hand side of midfield. Will try to find out more.

Saw that now. I thought Fletcher might start instead of O'Shea but pretty much as we thought.

Looking at that midfield, a rare occasion where i will say that i wish Fletcher was in the line up.

Wow. Van Der Sar!!!!! Three out of three penalty saves! Very exciting match. We saw some great flowing attacking football, in particular for Wazza, Ronny, Evra, and Giggs. We also saw some poor passes and mistakes in defense, but overall a good day. It always is when we beat Chelsea. All of our penalties were very well taken, and very well saved! Now bring on the real season!

The rent boys had a few players out today injured- just in case you missed the 5 minute update service provided by Andy 'i love chelski with a passion' Gray and his sycophant partner Tyler on Skysports.
Good performance.

Funny how some big names (Terry, Drogba, Scholesy) were out, and the game ended up being better than the FA Cup Final. VDS ;D

Christ Chelsea are bloody boring little pansies. Maybe i've watched too much rugby over the summer, they just went down on everything, not to mention resorting to complete containment for over 45 minutes, that'll be the 'exciting' brand of football they promised this season. It'll probably get worse when Drogba arrives with the long balls.Looked utterly lost without Drogba as well, which bodes well for January Ronaldo was much better than the FA cup final, Van Der Sar a bit weak on the goal. Do the new guys good to get a medal on their first opportunity before they've even played a league game ;D Great reception for Hargreaves. A better way to start the season there isn't, apart from beating Inter.. The domination at times, pinning Chelsea in was brilliant. They couldn't cope with some of Rooney's runs, Rooney and Tevez could cause a few nightmares. We've missed Rooney dropping deep, now we'll have either him or Tevez doing so every game
