Being a united fan that hurt today, really hurt! not only was it a loss not only was it the derby, it was for the busby babes and we were shocking. no effort from any of the lads today. I will still be hurting until 3 pm saturday when i can get on the terraces of telford and sing my fucking heart out for a club that is all about the fans of football. where were the united fans today cos on tv all you could hear was city. my dad told me when he went to old trafford the stretford end was like a jumbo jet taking off. in all honesty when i went to boston on saturday the telford and boston fans made more nosie than what i heard on the tv. moan over on a plus side it makes the game i'm going to (arsenal) even more important and i'll still teach the fat cats in the boxes how to sing lol

My blood is still boiling from the fans today.
I've always defended our fans, defended our atmosphere argued that when the chips are down our fans are there, amongst the best. Today showed me how wrong I was.
That hurt me more than the defeat, I was so shocked.

Some games our fans are great, I'll go home watch MOTD and the fans seem quiet.

on tv at times it looked that someone was changing volume from match, all of a sudden you can hear city fans very very loudly and next second is returned to normal
Petrov was given far too much space and Brown stayed too far from him and giving him much space for his crossing which is best in the league Ronaldo cant play as a striker and Tevez cant be our target man and we must not panic and just using long balls to Tevez

The lowest I've felt as a UTD for as long as I can remember.
The team AND the majority of fans inside Old Trafford were a let down. How could we let City out sing us like that?
The only positive I can see is that it might be the sort of kick up the arse needed to go on a great run with Arsenal and Lyon coming up.
Its time like this when you remember THERE'S ONLY ONE KEANO

Pathetic.
Once again the City players and team motivates their selves for a local derby and once again our players fail to do so. It seems to have been like this for years, every year they are up for the game, gritty performances, fighting for every ball and every year (bar one or two games) our team goes out there and plays like its Fulham at home and we can win without trying.
It pisses me off. it's not just another game to the fans (especially the one yesterday) yet to the players it seems like its just another game.
We were a shambles yesterday. Most players had an off day and we played with no pace and no ideas. City deserved their win and i really expected them to make it 3-0 near the end.
It's shocking how the players couldn’t motivate themselves for a derby vs City especially for the anniversary of Munich.
Fergies team selection and tactics were way off imo too. We need an energetic ball winning type player vs city imo as it’s normally a gritty game where fancy football doesn’t come first. Hargreaves in the Derby at the start of the season was man of the Match for me but today he didn’t start. Why we played 3 wingers but none of them seemed to spend time on the wing was just stupid.
Giggs as a second striker has never worked and won't ever work. He's not a captain, he didn’t do anything yesterday to rouse the team during the game.
In the form that he's in (im not singling him out from yesterday as everyone was shite) this season he should be behind Nani in the pecking order, Ferguson seems to play him on merit though so he can break Charlton’s appearance record this season.
We'll have to play a lot better against Arsenal in the FA cup as even though its not a Premiership match we have to win as Arsenal don't look like slipping up in the league and are high on confidence. We're Lucky that Chelsea drew.

Today showed me how wrong I was. That hurt me more than the defeat, I was so shocked. Spot on. I always go on about we can create a great atmosphere like vs Chelsea, Milan and Roma but who doesn’t create a good atmosphere in the big games? What shows good fans is how they are in the other games and our fans are just shite. The East stand is pretty good and the Stretford end is great, what must they think when they sing all game and watch the other stands doing fuck all?? I'm embarrassed to sit in the South stand, you look around and are surrounded by people who just sit there and do nothing is shocking. It's even worse when you see legends like Giggs and Scholes or Ronaldo being substituted after playing well and a lot of the fans just sitting there and not even clapping as others give them a standing ovation. Plus how many women go who look like they would rather be at home moaning about football? There are a lot of women at OT and I’ve never seen one singing and properly getting behind the team. I get the impression that the ones that sit around me only go because they don’t want their husbands going off watching football while they stay at home. There was a girl who was sat next to me yesterday, she has been to a few games (not at all this season though) all she did was text during the first half, i didn’t see her clap or make a sound then at half time she didn’t come back I'm keeping my scarf and program etc from the packs given yesterday as this game one a special occasion and meant a lot to me. To see loads of packs and the scarves on sale on ebay (even before the end of yesterday!) really sums up a lot of our fans, they just don't care much at all. Wankers. Rant over.

People around me have said that K-Stand 3rd tier have a good voice as well. South Stand is just pants. Thats the gist of it yeah.

They ain't proper fans unless they sing for united. I wish i could go in the 70's like my dad did. Back when you could stand with your mates have a sing and a laff and support your team the proper way instead of just sitting there spectating not supporting. My dad went when there was 80,000 in old trafford and he said the roar of the crowd was unbelievable

I cried yesterday before the game if possible i would had cried also after but was too angry and pissed off to cry!
We played rubbish football in a such special occasion! that was the game to win but we went out there with no enthusiasm at all or maybe with too much pressure on our shoulders, but the fact is we woke up (if we can call it in this way) only at the 92th minute when was too late too change the game!
Im not going to save anyone from yesterday game maybe only VDS who made two gr8 saves on the first goal meanwhile defenders were too afraid to cover up and save the net!
I wanted a win and i saw City won on our day!

Any united fan me included would have accepted the result if we had put the effort in and played good football but we didn't and we let the babes down and that is why it hurts so much more than any other defeat.

a very disappointing day yesterday, but we must move on... im sure that united will bounce back from this loss! we need to get behind our boys for the next match against arsenal. Im sure they will be able to do well in that match.
