Byt the way, check out a book called Four Kings by Geogre Kimball. It's about the 80's middleweight divison and focuses in on Leonard, Hagler, Duran and Hearns. It's an absolutely cracking read. Kimball has written for the Boston Globe for decades and is one of the most respected sports journalists in the States. He's Pulitzer nominated and an absolute gent who I met last night. Honestly, this is one of the best sports books I've read in years.

20 days to the return of Pretty Boy Floyd!!!! I think this is guna be a close, both are counter punchers with good speed, in Floyds case incredible speed. Could also be a boring fight, talking about mayweather here lol.. But im going for Mayweather Unaminous decision over JMM.

did anyone else see that big mouth junior witter embarass himself over the weekend. khan and hatton would knock him silly Junior Witter is a plonker, always has been, always will be! To think this muppet had the brass to call out Hatton on a number of occasions. Ai like Hatton is going to go from fighting the Mayweathers of this world to fighting fucking junior witter who probably couldnt draw a fucking picture never mind a crowd of 20K+. Ridiculous. Anybody want to see something funny, watch that prize fighter next week. Im sorry but in terms of talent the lads that usually enter this are berift of it., i.e. Fraudley Harrision and Danny Williams.

Haye to Beat Valuev on points. Basically i think your guna see a fight were haye will come in land a few punches and then move out of Valuevs reach, take him around the ring a few times, in and then out. Haye says hes going for knockout. I believe he will, i just can't see him doing it. Valuevs a fucking rock, cant see him going down or being ko'd.
If it goes to a split decision it will favour the home fighter, Valuev! But i don't think it'll come to that. think haye will beat him on points.

Valuev didn't land a punch until the 4th fucking round or summat. But after Haye broke his hand, the cunt stopped fighting. I honestly didn't think he did enough to win the title. I suppose in hindsight he DID almost knock Valuev out.

It wasn't the best spectacle, but then it was never going to live up to the hype. It's hard to fight someone that big, it's as simple as that. Haye will have got in there, and thought "this is going to be harder than I thought". After he fucked his hand, it was always going to be tricky for him. I'm not sure he was as aggressive as everyone would have liked, and until he rocked Valuev at the end, I thought that would count against him overall. A lot of it is politics though, cos the boxing world would rather have Haye as champion to reignite the heavyweight division. He's got all the tools as a boxer, and let's face it, he's a proper mouth as well. Be interesting to see where the big fucker will go from here.

I had valuev to win on points which is why I was suprised that two judges had a 2 round swing. Mind you one called it 112-112. Not a very good fight. Commentators were divided, studio sided with Valuev on points. It just goes to show how unsatisfactory points victories are. A personal preference of mine is boxers who will take punches and dish them out and I felt that Valuev was the only one really willing to do both. Hayes, quite frankly belongs in a different weight division to Valuev.

Pacquiao takes on Cotto tonight, should be interesting, had to laugh at the Pacman during the weigh in, he was pulling all these poses like a bodybuilder.

Haven't seen it yet, but heard he did him in the last round. Did he give him a proper pummelling throughout?
