do you guys use fitness tracker bands? Nah. I see them as a bit of waste of money, unless you're just pounding pavement with running.

Bolded bit sounds hag! I do something similar but with my back against a wall and put 15kg on my lap. It's great for a breather but really works your glutes and core. EDIT: Plank? Flyes? On leg day? Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

id prefer it having my carbs for lunch, but with living with my partner I sit down with her and have tea (dinner to you southern folk) in the evening and its just easier for making/prepping meals.
this week I have gone fish week as I had a shit load of chicken last week.
10 am - Sardines and a Ham salad 2pm - cod and boiled rice
chest day
warm up - 3 mins slow skipping (speed rope) stretching - mainly core, back, shoulders, arms and chest. then light bodyweight exercises and variations of push ups 1 min 3/4 pace skipping
Ring Dips 5 x 5 Superset with wide arm push ups dumbbell press - Lying on the floor as im still recovering a neck injury - 4 x 8 straight bar dips - 5 x 5 cable flyers - 4 x 12 (slow and controlled. last set up the weight so I cn only hit 6 then drop the weight for even slower last 6) that's superset with front raisers 4 x 10. ring push ups - trying to extend my arms out a the bottom of the rep so I eventually straighten them out (flyers)
Bi's Ring pull ups 5x5 holding at the top EZ bar curls 4 x 8 dumbbell curls 4 x 12 (4 seconds on the down) Hammer curls 4 x 12 (holding for 10 seconds first)

I’m smashing it this year. Cut down booze. Gone from 95kg to 87kg since Xmas. Keeping the 3 compound lifts in every program I do.
Started doing some more running and classes at my local PureGym, which I think are great. Throwing in yoga with the mrs 3 nights a week too.

I'm genuinely asking. My wife's a yoga teacher and her biggest gripe is not being able to get me to do it. I can't. I just can't! I'm into football, basketball, tennis etc. I hit the gym when I can. But yoga seems so slow and dull ! It just bores me. How do you do it 3 nights a week? More importantly, how do you have the enthusiasm for it especially after doing such vastly more dynamic exercises ?

More importantly, how do you have the enthusiasm for it especially after doing such vastly more dynamic exercises ? It's a long answer haha. Long story short, my mobility, especially in my hips and shoulders was poor, short of forking out £80 a month for physio/massage, I did a bit of research and yoga looked like it'd do what I needed. My partner has always done a bit of yoga, through a Vlog she follows and had a spare mat, so decided I'd give it a go. It's genuinely tough, but I find a lot of the movements help with my weight program, particularly squats and deadlifts as it's strengthend my hamstring chain and eased my hip flexors. It's improved my breath control too. I only do 20 to 30 mins of yoga each time, as you rightly point out, I'm knackered, but my mrs looks forward to doing it with me, so I often oblige so she'll make me a cup of tea after haha.

Especially your core. It’s addictive.

I'm only working 48 miles away but most nights it's nearly 2 hours to get home. Really need something I can do at home.
