Oh come on guys. Young is a good player and you lot are banging on as if he is awful. He put in some important performances for us last season. And yet you slag off Nani in the other thread, while leaping to Young's defence here. If Nani is inconsistent, what do you reckon Young is? Yes because Young always puts a performance in even if he is having an off day. And also, Bale isn't world class.

Just had an absolute brainwave I just know jim is going to Love. Tommy, you with me? 1st XI: Lindegaard Rafael -- Evans -- Vidic -- Evra Valencia -- Ro(oney)bson -- Cleverley -- Young Kagawa Robin van Persie Bench: De Gea, Rio, Tunnicliffe, Scholes, Nani, Welbeck, Jones - depending on form.

Poor Michael Carrick, Rooney would have to replace Cleverley in that team not MC.Our defence wouldnt stand a chance.

a better shout than berbatov playing in center mid but still not sure he'd be very good in there. i mean he is an all-round player who could do a shift anywhere on the pitch. don't think it's a long term answer though

Scholesy started off as a striker. I'm jus' sayin'.

Barring De Gea in for Lindegaard I'd say that line-up screams mobility and energy - maybe a few years from now our midfield core will be similar to this, looks tasty.
