£5mill we bid. Ha!
Anyways, this news leaked weeks ago, from a United source too, I wouldn't put too much stock in it.

Must admit I know very little about him; but on the few occasions I have seen him he's looked strong, determined and direct on the ball.

He looked a beast for Belgium against England, but then if was against England's midfield. I was sure that he used to be a forward that has been moved further back. Good strength, not sure about rest of his game.

if Fergie was serious surely we'd have got him in by now. compared with attempting to sign van persie from arsenal this would be an easy transfer by comparison

I think he is very under-rated, quite a bit of snobbery because he is a Fulham player. He would be a good addition to any of the top sides IMO.

No, it's quite a bit of snobbery because basically no-one on here has seen anything in the times we've seen him play to suggest he is anywhere close to United standard. You forget, for signings, our benchmarks are KAGAWA and VAN PERSIE now. #yahoo# But seriously, I've said it before, when there's a player at a lower Premier League club who looks like he could be good enough for us, people say it. They don't simply write him off just because he plays for a lower Premier League club. e. g. Baines.

I rate him and I think he will prove people wrong if he does get a big move.

Nobody rated Tony V when we signed him. If the fee is low, surely its worth a chance?

Think Fergie would have been at Fulham as they're the next match up - Good result for them too
