I Would love to see him back in any capacity even if it's just a squad role. I imagine it will be very tough to get his fitness level up to the levels of Evra and Carrick but am sure he can get enough to play as a “deep holding player”.

Sadly, I think it's over for Fletch....hope to be proved wrong though...how old is he now?

29 or he just turn 30,and if he cured there is still a chance he can produce on the field. Or I am just being a naïve optimist, in which case I hope the club retain him in some sort of youth coaching role.

Our midfield would have been fine with him in it.

Yeah come back game for him today.
It's like a new signing! So THIS is why we only bought the one midfielder, we knew Fletch was returning to save us!

Heard he looked a lot fitter than he did in his previous comeback. Fingers crossed, by god could we use him. And he deserves a break.

That was fantastic. I've avoided everything to do with Fletcher for ages because after the last failed comeback I didn't believe he'd ever be the same. I was gutted. It would be a miracle if the old Fletch came back but stranger things have happened.

Regardless of old Fletch or not, he will fare better than Felli
